I have a great idea for you, seriously. I'll take you to work with me and you can be right by my side while I do my rounds in the Pediatric and/or Adult Oncology Unit at my hospital. You can tell my kids, and their parents, just how much YOUR life 'sucks'. I'm sure that in between wondering how long they will have their baby, toddler, or 13 year old with them on this earth and how they'll be able to keep a roof over their heads and food on the table (because they have exhausted limits on insurance and have zero left in their savings) they will sympathize with just how awful things are for you right now. Yep, they will. You'll probably get even more support from some of the 20, 30, 40, and 50 year olds who have been going down this 'fun' road for years.
You want to make your life better? Quit feeling sorry for yourself and be grateful you HAVE an option to change your life. Yeah, I don't have too much in the way of encouragement for anyone who writes things like this - unless you DO have a really good reason for saying it. If that's the case, I am all ears and on board and I WILL apologize for what I have said. I highly doubt your outlook on life is for a 'good reason' though...... >:(

Your life doesn't suck it's all in your head. first of all; all you have to do is look around you and pay close attention to other people and their
lives. Listen to other people's stories and what's going on with their every day lives and then look at yours and you will see that it's not too
bad.
Be grateful for all what you already have and if you want more than go after it and get it. Never forget that there is people in this world that are
hungry and have nothing and no one helps them.
I think sometimes some people worry about the wrong things, stuff that aren't important at all; like oh what color to paint my nails today.
Always remember that no matter how bad your day is there is someone out there having a worse one and you will feel better.

Life is what you make it. You are responsible for your own destiny. If you think your life sucks, think about how other people are living. Some people are dying from incurable diseases, homeless, or had limbs blown off in war or an accident. I'm sure their lives suck way more than yours, but they live with it every day, trying to make the most of it. So, if you think your life sucks then go and change it so it doesnt suck. You have the ability to do that if you want to.

Take your life and put it up against others who have wayyyy more ( ringfingers neighbor) than yours. its not always bad as you think it is.

If you really wanted help making your life better, you wouldnt be sitting around whining about it in here, you'd be doing something to change it... make it bettter. Or you'd be more specific/detailed in your post on how or why it sucks so that someone could actually help you. So, its probably not as bad as you think. You're, and I'm just spitballin here, obviously a troll just trying to *bleep* people off by posting BS in the wrong section.

first time posting but had to suggest reading some motivational books! its mostly a mindset kind of thing, change your philosophies that will change your attitude.

Thats awesome! I had read about you going into the national guard before. Thats really cool mania. and a lawyer!? Hell yeah. I wish you the best of luck. Keep in touch here though! and there hasnt been too many juicy debates lately. Maybe a few...but... you know. ttyl

Don't pay attention to all the negativity in here, they got issues.
Anyways, what sucks about your life? What would you like to change? What do you want instead? Those are questions that you have to answer...go after what you want, life is short and the sky isn't the limit.
Dream big...you'll be okay, no matter how bad you think you have it, there is always someone who has it worse. :heart:

I think that there is always someone out there who will be: stronger, richer, more beautiful, healthier, more athletic or has a suckier life. I believe that you should try finding that person with a suckier life and, in your journey, try to help those that have met with misfortune. I have a feeling that, not only will you grow less suckier as you help others, you will appreciate how truly lucky you are in life.

poohbear62 Get a grip you are alive and well you are on FC trying to make a little money that is a plus so stop thinking negatively and go volunteer at a homeless shelter or at a food bank Maybe then your life will not be so bleek One other thing... Change only happens when you change. So get out there and live do not just exist. :thumbsup: :heart:

Amen!!! There is ALWAYS someone that has things worse than you do. It seems to me you have computer access ... which is alot more than some. Count your blessings and Thank God for all you do have.
If you are thankful for what you have .... ask and God will hear your prayers. I understand what it is like to be down ... to have a disfunctional family ... to go through divorce ... have a broken heart ..... face some very horrifying things but I am still here, happy and grateful to God for all that he has given me.

Change your attitude for starters. Otherwise you come across as a pathetic whiner and folks will tend to react negatively to you thus perpetuating how much your life sucks...cause basically you become what you believe.

I feel like my life sucks sometimes as well. Try to find something that brings you peace, a picture of the ocean or music something that calms and soothes you. It helps you calm down you emotions and figure out what you need to do to make changes in your life so that it doesnt suck anymore.

We all go thru difficult times, but you are the only one who can change things for yourself. Just know that it will get better and there is always someone who has it worse than you, whether it be financially, medically, emotionally, etc. Cheer up and take some positive steps.

You can chose to focus on the positive or negative in life. Focusing on the negative doesn't change anything because you will still be in that same situation no matter how hard you think about it. Focusing on the positive will change your mood and outlook and make you happier and who knows maybe it will effect how other see you. Which path sounds better.
All that happens in life cannot be planned but you can make the most of what you have. I like to focus on those that are less fortunate and suddenly my problems don't seem so bad.

it's all in the attitude....i'm not rich, i have a few health problems, but i have a family and friends, and i try to think good thoughts everyday. :wave:

Change your mindset. You have to learn to think positively. Try daily self affirmations.

the only thing i can say is that yes life does suck but change the things you do and the people you hang out with or at least some of them and change how you belive in yourself and start doing thing diffrent in life..sometimes change can be good

That depends on how "bad" your life is. Always remember~Someone else, somewhere else in this world has got it worse than you do, so do not complain about things you can not change. Look at what you have compaired to others. Do you have shelter, food, water, and clothes??? Not to mention a proper place to "drop the kids off at the school" if you know what I mean? Its all in how you approach your life, also how much experience you have in your life. If your young, get help from those you trust, If you are older, definitely try the theory "beggers cannot be choosers". Its all up to you. :thumbsup:

Too change your life you have to first change your thinking. Learn how to be positive, it's hard but you have to keep practicing to build new neural pathways in your brain. Do research on how to change negatives into positives. Learn the law of attraction. Lots of information on the internet. Good Luck.

YEAH !!! do sumthing different... it is what it is & most defintly it is what you make it - do sumthing diferent - start with thinking sumthing different..
