Depends on how much I win! ;D
-
Heck no. I'd quit if I only won 100K after taxes.
-
I would work a little if i won the lotto, so i wont get bored.
-
If it was over a million, Hell No! ;D
-
I would be a volunteer, instead of working for money. I have to win over 1 million dollars for me to do this. I will have to do some traveling as well.

i think i would work run my own business cause money does not last for ever lol
-
I would have to work part time so not bored.
-
Nope, I would quit my job ASAP if I won the lottery because my job SUCKS!!!! It also depends how much money I won as well :)
-
i agree, it depends on how much i win
-
I would continue working until they could fill my spot if I won enough money to support me in the manner to which I wish to become accustomed too. :)
-
Absolutely! If I had won it while I was working, I would have quit. I am retired and know I do not get bored if I don't go to a job every day.
-
I may work part time. The money won't last forever, and I can still make extra money while not working too hard.
-
Yes, I would work if I won the lottery. When I am working or volunteering, I feel as though I am making a contribution to society.
-
I really don't think I would change my day to day life all that much if I won. My mother inherited allot of money a few years ago and she stopped working for a year and traveled a little. But she is working again and hasn't changed much at all. She does have more to spend but it hasn't affected what she does or buys. I think she would be incredibly bored if she didn't work. I don't have a "normal" 40 hour a week job but I would keep working if I won. I like my job. :)
-
I would take what little I would need to basic survival and invest the rest of it. Since I don't really have a job right now I would probably continue to not have a job.
-
NO!! but I must say I don't work now ::) I have a back injury and I am trying to get disability but was turned down last month :( I am going to reapply. Thankfully I am married to a wonderful man that takes care of me so I don't have to work. I do all I can online to make some spending money ...just for me.
-
Depends on how much I win...if I was to get a job it'd be after I've enjoyed/saved/invested my money. It'd be part-time in something I absolutely LOVE doing.
-
I'd prolly take a looooong break from working, go on vacation, try things I've never done before because they cost money, then I'd head back to work and occasionally do things that require lots of money that I dont normally do
-
me to I would work a little if i won the lotto, so i wont get bored :notworthy:
I would work a little if i won the lotto, so i wont get bored.
-
I think I would take a leave of absence for a while but would have to get back to work after a while. It would be nice to want to work and maybe be able to do what I wanted to do, like my own business, instead of feeling like I have to work just to make paycheck to paycheck.
-
If I won a few million, first.....I'd pay my tithes, set up trust funds for my 3 grandsons. Donations would go to the Mission Field, Women's Shelter, and the Paralyzed Veterans. Then....travel the world the rest of my life with no financial worries.
-
I would definitely start my own craft business and live in a world of bliss. Of course I'd spend most of my time spoiling my grandkids & traveling - but then down to serious business when I'm home - crafts!!!
-
If I won the lottery, I would probably volunteer somewhere just to keep busy. But then if I had money I could afford to go do things. Hmmm tough question. I think I would go back and finish college, and then volunteer. Plus I would have enough money to get my online business going .
-
Depends on how much I win! ;D
It would depend also on how much, most likely not vacation time here I come!!!
-
I think that I would still work but, I would like to run my own business.

I love this question... seems like everyone asks it! I think I would take some time off to travel and get things in order (get a lawyer first) and then get a part time job to keep some type of "normal" life.
-
I would stay home and work on my computer still - because that's what I enjoy doing.
-
if I will 1 million I will travel back to my country. I always win the smallest lottery, I will try next week and see if I can win something more
-
Would work but by choice thats completely different the stress would not be there of how will i put food on the table, but i think working makes you feel good and from getting bored but part time i dont know i cant say maybe i would not work who knows i think you have to be there but who knows people who win the lottery get in debt a lot so may have to work harder
-
It really depend on how much it is if i became a million yes i would stop work
-
I won a large amount that would set me up for life. I wouldn't work at all. I'd go to school to learn new things like languages, how to create building/constructing better green eco living spaces. i also give to charity & the less fortunate.
-
Depends on on how much I won. I would most likely quit the job I have now work on some other projects that I had been putting off because of money issues
-
That would be awesome!! I would donate some money to charity. Buy a new vehicle. Really depends on much you won from the lottery. I think they take out about half for taxes.
-
I think I would start my own business with the money
-
I think I would continue working so that I would have something to do and could keep my friends that I work with...If I like them haha...But I think I would keep working and just have to stop being so picky while shopping and buying things for myself? Just buy a little fancier stuff :D
-
Definitely, we need to maintaian our visa status here
-
Would definitely depend on how much was won - if it was $100, probably not. If it was multi-million, maybe. It would depend on if I could find something to occupy my time - which work does very nicely. I'm sure I'd find a lot of pet projects to do, maybe start a business of my own vs working for a company. Would definitely take time out to travel - so would probably quit work during that sabbatical. ;D
-
I would HAVE to work, otherwise I would feel useless. I feel that working makes you who you are and I would hate to lose myself, or change because I ran into a large sum of money.
-
I think I would keep working, but, would probably retire earlier than I had planned.
-
No, I would not work. I would start enjoying my life finally.
I would help family members and others (friends) who need it.
-
If I won a lot of money, and I mean over 250,000 I would quit work as I am 70 years old now. I would travel. I have been wanting to do that for a long time, didn't have the time or money. I am working now as SS does not pay enough to live on. I am thankful I am able to work now but wish I didn't.

It would depend on how much I won. But most likely I would probably not stop working entirely because I enjoy it. I would definitely spend more time with family and friends. I would also volunteer more
-
i guess it depends on the amount, if i won alot i would stop working and start enjoying
-
I would take a three month break to visit the world at large, come home and say 'ha ha' to all the butt heads in my life and then work at something that I enjoy. I would try to expand a new business so that I could improve the quality of other people's lives...get them to enjoy life more. I would spend more time working with charities but, above all, would focus on the little time I have left with my kids. They are growing up way too fast and totally rock my world.
-
If i were to win the lottery i would still work i dont really like sitting around doing nothing all day
-
Yes but I'd probably just do something more for joy of doing it instead of worrying about money. ;D Maybe someday I'll get lucky!
-
I think I'd still try to work. I would concentrate more on doing something that I enjoy rather than a higher paying job that I hate. Might try to start my own business from home. I would definitely take some time off to do some traveling first.
-
I would work on seeing the world. Everyone has to do some kind of work even if it doesn't pay.
-
No, I would never work another day and neither would my parents.
-
depending on how much i won,but if i did win alot of money enough not to work,id definetly not work but pick up some kind of hobby to keep myself busy. hopefully one day that day comes soon!! fingers crossed!! :)
-
Depends on how much I win! ;D
If it was a huge sum I would certainly not work but I am retired so I just work on line but if the sum is huge I just think that I would spread it around my children and grandchildren first then family and friends that need help then travel and fix my teeth I have really bad teeth but when money is no object possibilities are endless.
-
I know that I would keep working, just can't see myself sitting at home doing nothing at all. Now how hard I work really depends on how much I actually win! LOL :icon_rr:
-
Yes I would work so I can make more money with the lotto money combined.
-
:wave:I would do something just soo i wouldnt get bored :dontknow:
-
It depends on my job situation. If I was happy at work, I would continue to work. If I wasn't happy at work, I would definitely quit my job, just as soon as I cashed in, if the winnings were enough to live comfortably for the rest of my life.
-
I would start my dream business and volunteer! But yeah, i think I would quit my job
-
If I won the lottery for millions and I had a job I would of course keep my job and wouldn't let anyone no I would work like normal.
-
I would not work If i was to win millions.
-
hell,no-I'd buy an RV for mainland and a condo and boat in Hawaii.
-
I would still work, but my career ambitions would likely take a serious hit. After sitting for months unemployed bored out of mind, I can't imagine not doing anything.
-
depending on the amount.I wouldn't work I would start my own business and be my own boss.
-
I agree it would depend on how much I won...The Gov takes at least a third.
-
I would have to win the mega millions lottery to quit my job. win one of the jackpots where I would winover $100 million after taxes. yes $12 million before taxes would be nice but like the others said the money isnt going to last forever and seeing as im only 23 the money would have to last to a long time. I would be happy winning the $250,000 and get my house paid off. that way I wouldnt have to worry as much about money.
-
Heck no I wouldn't work if it was enough to get me out of debt and live on for about 20 years.
-
Well me and my husband would open our own business that way we still would be doing what we love and bringing in extra money just in case. Also that way our kids have more than just money when they grow up. They would have something to last a lifetime and would actually appreciate money. I would have so many GREAT plans if i won the lottery!!
-
Only if I got my dream car, 2011 Camaro :3
-
depends on how much i won.
-
If I was a multi millionaire I might still do some volunteer work to keep myself occupied (other than my periodic traveling).
-
I would work but make my work environment better and set my own hours if possible
-
It depends on how much I won from the lotto.
-
Pay off some bills, but a nice little lake home to use during the summer. The rest of what I do depends on how much I win!
-
If my husband wins the lottery (he is the one who buys the tickets :) )
we would pay off any debt, help the kids and folks out, and we'd like
to get a home on a lake and a winter home in the south
-
It depends how much I won the lottery.
-
Hurray for me!!! I would continue to work. I would pay all the outstanding bills and keep working so I would keep from being so bored at home all the time. I like to go to work and see people everyday but I would probably go to part time.
-
You've got to be kidding me!! I am close to retirement age as it is, I would not work another day if I won the Lottery!!
-
You've got to be kidding me!! I am close to retirement age as it is, I would not work another day if I won the Lottery!!
I'm already retired due to health issues so I would not work. I would volunteer either by training service dogs or teaching people all the cool things you can do on your computer.
-
yes i would work if i won the lottery. a person has to stay busy and needs to feel as if they accomplished something.
-
I would leave my job ASAP if I won an extensive amount. I definitely won't be working where I'm at anymore. Getting a constant headache of people yelling in my ear as to what time the bus is showing up at their stop. I feel like telling them it gets there when it feels like getting there.
-
If it's the BIG JACKPOT, it's no for me.
-
i would always work.no matter what!i feel better when i can help people and just be needed!
beasides,if i won a lot of money i have a plenty way to spend it!
-
lol, hellllll no.
I would have a big house with a lot of property to take care of [landscaping, gardening, etc] and that would be the work that I would have to do.
-
No matter how much the jackpot is, I'll still work. I'd be bored.
-
If it was alot I would not work I would have someone working for me. All my bill's would be paid off.
-
I am not working now but if I won the lottery I believe it would be work to manage the money the right way :)
-
i would have to take an extended :angel12: leave of absent but yes i would come back.
-
Depends on how much I won and how old I am at the time. If I am already retired... then no. If I am still 27 or lets say under 50 then yes, b/c after I traveled the world and have done whatever I wanted to do, then I might be board. So I would find me a job that would keep me busy and not board!
-
Depends on how much I win! ;D
I would work, but not tied to a clock ever again!
