Post by: AdamH1978 on July 26, 2011, 11:15:59 am: 2008 Honda Fit and 2006 Nissan Sentra. Both cars are 4 cylinder and good on gas, especially the Fit at 36 mpg. I wish I still had my motorcycle though, it was a Honda Shadow 750cc cruiser. Nothing special, but it was fun and got about 50 mpg as I recall. My wife wasn't fond of the motorcycle so I sold it. :'(

I've been wanting a Mini Cooper for a while now but most of the reviews say that the car is unreliable and practically lives in the shop because of all the repairs. How has your Mini treated you?

Also had a 1964 Dodge push button gear car about 25 years ago, that was crazy!

To get around I use a combination kick/scooter & public transportation. Most people who are in my situation (single) should give car-free a try. I'd say my stress level went from an 8/10 to maybe a 2/10 since dumping the car. People don't realize how much of a burden a car is:

Traffic
Road Rage
Payments
Insurance
Registration
Costly Repairs

Not to mention the environment.

I had my son in law look at it before I bought it and he said if I took good care of it, it would last to 250,000 miles. So far he has been right. I have only had it fixed one time and that is because a little hose got a hole in it and it would stall when I came to a red light. It only cost me $12.00 to get it fixed. I have had brakes on it and got new tires last year. I have been lucky with it. It was 4 years old when I bought it and it had 56,000 miles on it when I got it. I have only put 42,000 miles on it since I have had it. May everyone have a good day and May God bless each of you.

We have one of the second row seats out so that there is an open area to get in and out, as well as to load groceries, bikes, and all their gear. Love it!

My mustang reminds me of the same exact one that my best friend's parents had when we were kids. Its too bad I lost my best friend's contact info because it would of been nice to keep in touch.

I allways thought the Pontiac Sunfire was very stylish. But I love my Kia now.

Of course, it needs some love and work for being 20yrs old. I like to replace the top and I bet it will be the most expensive part to fix. Anyways, I like my mustang :)

My daughter will start driving in April and will get my Subaru when she has her full license in April of 2013 at which time I am thinking of getting a new Ford Focus which will be my son's car two years later. Somewhere in there I want to get a new Hayabusa motorcycle and my wife wants to get a mercedes. I guess you will be seeing a heck of alot more posts coming from Tresbn00! I am also working two jobs to make these vehicle dreams, as well as the kid's college dreams, come true!
