Title: Fusion Cash Changes
Post by: ULuvCeCe on December 16, 2011, 09:18:05 am
I am loving all of the new changes that FC has made but the one thing that would make me super happy would be if there is a way to hide certain video offers. IE. The ones where you have to download something.

Right now my videos are stuck on that gamewrangler one, something I have no interest in so until it is removed it just keeps looping. Ignoring it is easy too, I know but hey worth suggesting

Yeah I hate that too.  Usually they go away sooner or later and it seems like if they don't it is because I don't have any other ones available.  Minor irritation for one of the best sites on the net.  But you are right.  No harm in asking.

Yes wonderful changes.

I just don`t like all these ads in the forum.

Yeah the change's seem good! If they would let you pick an option button for the video's that download stuff vs watching them that would be awesome!

I guess I missed the memo on the changes, what changed? the paid to shop thing?on the new tool bar? The toolbar that doesn't show our scrolling earnings as soon as they credit? so that we have to either wait 30 minutes for an update or open another window and check it directly to know when we can close the window we are waiting on to credit? The Game Wrangler which is a download and not a video that keeps showing up in the videos? Which should have been done away with the last time it was around? It is a bad reflection on Fushion Cash to first, have it miscatagorized, and 2nd, to keep messing up people's computers. It should just be dumped and never brought back.

The changes are great but there are a few glitches as in the videos, and the 1-3.00 survey's they stay on your page even if you don't qualify for them. I haven't taken both the ones that are on my page and they say I have but I know I haven't.

I agree with TOMAS7. The Wrangler video is highly irritating. Thank God I did not try it. I don't want my computer to get messed up. ???

I did try the video wrangler.  Got everything downloaded (I think) but still didn't get my credit and it kept looping.  Oh well, I'm not going to complain.  I get most of the offers I'm supposed to.  I think it would be great though if you could skip the ones that you wanted to.

I agree 100%, very annoying. Although I did enjoy the Taste of Fame game that was once looped in the video wall for download, they never credit and just keep looping.

The ability to block videos would be wonderful but sadly i dont see it happening. I wasn't around before the changes but i definitely dig the site now!

The new changes are great.  I have made a bunch more money off of the new surveys and offers.  The videos are annoying with the pre-screening though.  You get one that opens but says it isn't available to you.  I have to click swatch next video a few times before one shows up that I can watch and get credit.  Not too bad though... FC is still great.

I love the changes too! The extra $0.05 a day for doing searches in the new toolbar, the new surveys, etc. I have made alot more money this month than usual. I think I will be able to cash out again this month! I have not been able to cash out 2 months in a row since the first 2 months I started on FC back in 2010!!!

Too bad the toolbar doesn't work with Google Chrome. The old one did.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone.  I know that our paid videos are not the best at the moment (and I'm sorry about the GameWrangler issue -- we have to manually disable those videos after they pop up).  But we're working on an improved paid video system...

In a few weeks (or maybe a month) the toolbar should start notifying you when you're credited for an offer -- that's an improvement which we're already working on.

And I know that losing the Chrome toolbar is a bummer for many of you, but unfortunately the paid search and cashback shopping features are impossible to implement in Chrome due to the way the browser is built (Google made it that way on purpose).  There's nothing we can do about that :(

Google Chrome is that way for just about any toolbar except a chrome toolbar.  I think they did that for security reasons - not that I think your toolbar would be harmful - it's just easier to make it impossible to allow everything rather than chancing one thing slipping through that could ruin a computer or browser.  I tend to download toolbars on firefox but I haven't lately because I rarely use firefox - I use chrome for everything.  The same thing that makes it one of the safest browsers also makes it one of the more frustrating ones!

I love all the changes and opportunities to earn more @ FC. FC has become competitive with other sites--not that that was the intention. There will always be glitches when there are changes  and most can be worked out.
I use Fox Fire and have today 23 searches for a total of 1c; don't know what's going on there. I just go to another site where I do get credit.

I like the changes/opportunity...cant wait until they add more prizes to the point system and other little features. But I really  the FC surveys, highest payout I've ever seen on a gpt site

Thanks so much for that info.  Not having the toolbar available in Chrome was my only complaint (not even a whole hearted one), and now that you explained that it's impossible, I'm even happier.  You already thought of how to make everyone happy, but you can only do so much.  Love the site, love the changes, just plain love it.  So happy I found this site last month.

There are some great changes here. I just found the new FC surveys, and completed my profile for 50 cents. I am having some issues with the toolbar, thouhg. At least the search function. Every search I do, I get an error pop-up saying something about "Type Error, Unable to get value of the log" or something like that. Now it is doing the same thing with my Bing search bar, on my home page, which only started doing that after I downloaded the FC toolbar.

Wow!  I haven't had any problems.  Takes me a while to get my 5 qualifying searches, but it's not too bad.  If I just type everything I hear on 5 mins. of tv, I usually get my 5 from just that.  But I haven't had any technical issues.

I had no problem installing the new FC toolbar in Firefox and it works like a charm in that browser. I do think it was helpful to go into Tools and disable the old FC toolbar first. You might want to completely uninstall it in Control Panel before you start just to have a clean install. The new search feature also works flawlessly in Firefox and brings in a cool nickel a day for simple searches (that's $1.50 a month by the way). Haven't tried Click to Earn yet but I'm sure it'll work just fine as well.

One of the best things I like about the forum is the sharing of information like this. There are so many offers that Fusion makes available to us that all of them aren't going to work the way they thought and have no control over. Each of us passing on information to others lets us know when there is a little problem with one or another of the offers. Also, I have gotten great info on good and easy offers which credit right away and have no glitches. My grandson really enjoyed the Lego "card" that I sent him which built a Yoda Santa in fast time video. Really cool!  Thanks for opening up this subject and for the info.

But how are we going to get credited for the searches if we only use chrome I think they should try something. I know they say they can't but if there is a will there is a way.

It's really impossible with Chrome because of the way it's designed.  There's just no way.  This is not a cop-out to avoid doing work, it's a fact :)

Yes. If FusionCash really reads these suggestions and finds them easy to do and helpful to the FusionCash community, they should do it.
Sooner or later, this site is gonna be even better than right now.  :dontknow: Who knows? Nothing's perfect, but you can certainly be close.

I use Firefox and have not had problems with the FC toolbar. I too do not like to download other things like games etc. which show up incorrectly in the videos section from time to time. I have had great success with the paid to click and the daily emails. The biggest area that I have issues with are the surveys which often DQ me. But I stick with other tasks and generally so far have been close almost every month, if I miss my goal, I let it roll over and get a bigger check the following month. HOpe that helps .

Unfortunately I have problems with the toolbar because google chrome doesn't support it which sucks.

The paid toolbar DOES NOT work in CHROME, but I find CHROME works best for completing offers.  So I use EXPLORER for my toolbar searches and CHROME for the rest.

My only concern about the toolbar is that it disables Norton Safe Web.

Norton SafeWeb is the green "OK" next to searched websites saying that they have been checked as safe.

The toolbar doesn't allow that to load.

It's also causing a problem with a script in Firefox, which causes the YouTube site and Blogspot blog page to hang and sometimes crash.  The toolbar script stops responding.

Quote
A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete.
