Wow! When you find out let me know.  I have three dogs and a cat and am trying to sell my house.   I clean 24/7.  Plus I have a pre-teen who can't seem to even put trash in the trash can.  The only way I can manage to keep things clean is to vacuum and mop every day and then do little projects every day and clean like crazy on the weekends.

I do the same thing as samrhett. I'm constantly cleaning. I've got my daily routine of beds-laundry-dishes-sweeping-mopping, and I also keep some of those generic dollar store Clorox-type wipes in the bathroom, and I'll give the sinks a once over with those every day. Then I have my weekly routine where each day, a different room gets the deep cleaning treatment:

Mondays - Office and laundry room
Tuesday - Kitchen and downstairs bath
Wednesday - Living room/dining room/foyer
Thursday - Bedrooms
Friday - Upstairs bath, hallway and staircase

It is so good to see people are organized in their household chores.  I have no list but I do what I can to keep up. Working online makes it hard, but I always have a clean house.

Wow, we are all alike in one way or another. I have OCD so I clean way too much, and way too much of the time.

Don't allow Toddlers and Teenagers in your house!
Don't have a gravel driveway.
Have no pets in the house.
Do have central vaccum.
Have a drain in the middle of the Concrete Floor for hosing off the floor.
Get a maid.

I like to clean as I go. It helps if everything has a place so no clutter, use it put it back, cook and then clean up. The rotine stuff like vacuming, dusting, laundry, mopping ect. I have a loose schedule so something gets done every day and then the house nevere really looks dirty. But all that being said, it would be nice tobe able to wave a magic wand and everything be done ;D

I give up , when the wind blows here so does the dirt. It is so dry. Did not use to be this way. It could be worse. It could be  full of smoke. We got smoke here from the fires in western n.m. and we live about 450-500 miles east of it. Pray for rain there they need it to bring the fires under control.

It is a pain isn't it.  I love my dogs, but when they pass on, I will only have one dog from now on unless I have lots of properties and outbuildings where I can spend time with them.  Too much work!

When I was working full time I had a horrible time keeping the house clean. Actually it never was clean, and I always felt stressed and upset about it. I had a housekeeper come every other week. After she left, the house was clean, but then when my husband and the kids came home, within an hour it would be a mess again. It used to be a major stressor with my saying that when they didn't pick up after themselves, it made me feel really invalidated, but that all fell on deaf ears. I know that I'm a little OCDish about how clean I like things, but some things really used to irritate me. Once they got older though, things got better.

The best way to keep things clean is to stay on top of them.

I found that if I would go through every room every day, the house would stay clean. Now that the kids are gone and I'm alone, I'm a slacker, but it's not too bad. I should probably get back to my old routine though.

I don't know if that's possible. Where I live, a rural area, it is sooooo dusty here. I can't up with it!  :BangHead:
