Title: Have you won tickets on the radio?
Post by: dansazz on July 13, 2012, 08:52:51 pm: I never have but I was trying real hard one time, and thought I'd double my efforts. I called up my friend, and had him call in at the same time I did, and if one of us won, we would share the tickets with the other. I couldn't believe he won. So we got crappy nose bleed seats to a live wrestling event, and I gave up my main floor 9th row tickets, to my dad, so I could sit with my buddy. I missed my one and only chance to see Lita up close. I will regret that forever.

Post by: heatheram on July 25, 2012, 03:22:55 pm: I have not personally, my FIL wins them left and right. in my city you can only win once per 30 days per radio station, he keeps a chart and wins every month. We have enjoyed some wonderful things from the tickets! and so has he!

It was one of those types deals like who wants to be a millionaire, where your earnings add up the more questions you get right, but if you get one wrong, you lose everything. I got the first two questions right, but I decided not to go for the third one, so I passed up $100 bucks. Obviously I'm not a gambler!

Post by: plennis on July 30, 2012, 09:17:56 am: I have won all kinds of stuff. I have won all kinds of stuff on the internet too! A lot of it is because a lot of people try once and then give up. You have to be persistent. Put the numbers on speed dial and just keep trying. The odds of winning on the internet are very good because so many people just don't want to be bothered, or be bothered following the rules. So go through step by step and you would be amazed at what you might win.

Post by: ashleyxatrocity on July 31, 2012, 11:36:32 pm: I've won tickets off of the radio several times. The trick is to be persistent and pay attention to when they say to call/text in. They'll usually use the same recorded announcement and since the radio has a slight delay, you should begin your quest for glory as soon as you hear that announcement. It usually works for me. :)

Back in the late 90s and early 2000s, I listened to the radio almost all the time. Now, terrestrial radio has turned to garbage and I mostly listen to SiriusXM, which in itself has several has flaws, but is still much better.
