Well, here it is. My 30th birthday. The is the most depressing birthday I have ever had. I had goals in mind that I had wanted to achieve by now. I wanted to lose some weight, graduate from college, and I had hoped to have a second child by now. If it weren't for the miscarriage I had a couple years ago, I would have. On top of that, I lost my job three months ago and I haven't been able to find a job since. Happy birthday to me! Yeah right. Sorry if this sound a little depressing. I just wanted to blow off some steam.

Well Happy Birthday and hang in there I am also unemployed about to be on the street due to not getting a call yet for help jobs are not easy to find just have to hold your head up and think positive

Be glad for the things you do have. Plenty of people would kill to change places with you. Some people don't make it to their 30th birthday. As long as your on this side of the ground it's not too late to change.

I think my 30th was my worst too. I wasn't anywhere I wanted to be. Now I'm almost 46 and got the husband, kids, house I always wanted. Life isn't perfect, they all take turns driving me crazy and I'm looking for a job also. When I look back at how I felt that day, I'm very grateful for what I have. 30 is only an important date in our minds. Look for other ways to get what you want. Having a baby isn't the only to get kids in your life. My birthday is in three days. I'll make a birthday wish for you that day!

:star: Happy Birthday, anyway! :star: I'm really sorry about your miscarriage, and hopefully, you'll be able to have another baby. You've still got many years ahead of you to still accomplish many goals you have set for yourself - it's just taking a little longer - and that's okay. Just stop, see what you do have, and enjoy your life, as it is, right at this moment, with the ones you love. I totally understand the job situation, being there myself even now. Take care and take time to enjoy your special day! :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY jstein2! I hope you manage to achieve at least some of your wishes/plans before your next birthday. I, too, am unemployed, so is my husband. It is a struggle to get by from day-to-day, but the sun is still shining and the hope is still there that "something" will go our way. Here's wishing you all of the best!!! :thumbsup:

happy birthday and i feel where you are coming from but we all have to make the most of our time, like the others said be thankful for what you do have and the present, don't waste time lamenting the past, just make the best you can of today and i hope your 31st birthday is unbelievable ;D :thumbsup:
