Do you have matching furniture or mismatched furniture, and which do you prefer?
-
I cant decide which I prefer. My furniture is currently mismatched, but I have had matching sofa, loveseat, etc. in the past.
-
Re: furniture I have had mismatched bed and Dresser but in color they were almost same color.
Bed was darker in color the Dresser a little slight lighter.

I Have matching, They go all the way around my house and recline back and rock with a table on the end(That can be moved)
I really like it and it was a gift so I LOVED it ;D
We try to stick with the same theme gotta work on the bedroom though we still have are bed on the floor! ::) ::)

I like mixing old furniture with new...I also like mixing textures. Yet everything still goes together but not matching per say. I usually buy one or two nice pieces and then work around them with items I find at garage sales or estate sales. I used to love watching trading spaces... Enjoy your day.

I am sorry to say, but I got a good chuckle from your question. Thank you for starting my day out with a smile.
I click online for pennies where I can, what do you think my furniture is? I have what I can afford to pick up where I can, when I can.

mine are mismatched.as long as its comfortable, dont care if it matches or not

I prefer matched and am mostly matched, but in the past, economic considerations have kept me mismatched.
-
I have matching furniture. I like to change my color scheme often, so I need something to remain a constant.
-
i like having matched furniture,,as long as its comfy and looks ok ,,thats all thats matters
-
Comfort is ALL that matters, whether it matches or not... we just got rid of a wonderful sofa that matched EVERYTHING, but my hubby hated it because it was uncomfortable...
-
I have a matching couch and loveseat. But because I got them when I had young kids in and out of my house all the time they have matching slip covers. I also have a gliding rocking chair that I made cushion covers for so it also matches the couch and loveseat.

Have matching. but mismatch would be fine also.
-
I have furniture that is comfortable. That is the important thing.
-
mismatched. I furniture that I can afford and only buy as needed.
-
I try my best to keep all my furniture matching, but sometimes there is just nothing you could do. So for me, mostly matched haha. I would love to have everything match, that would just make me oh so happy.
-
Mine is mismatched because I lost some things in a hurricane and haven't been able to redecorate the way I'd like.
-
I have matching and honestly prefer it that way
-
mine is mismatched yet it goes together my curtains brown yellow and green then yellow carpeting yellow and brown couch and a brown couch and a green recliner so it looks all right together
-
I don't have enough furniture for it to "match" or "not match". :P But I suppose most of it has a black vibe going on.
My TV stand matches my bookshelf; does that count??
-
I have mix and match most of my furniture I purchased at the thrift store
-
all of my furniture is mismatched. i've never bought a "set"
of anything in my life, and i never will! not even my dishes.
i like interesting/ecclectic.
even though i'm mismatchy, i'm rather picky about my furniture.
i don't just throw anything together. i do a lot with color schemes
and pull everything together that way.
-
I have had to mix and match my furniture, also. I'm comfortable where I live and don't have to worry about torn, broken or stained furniture. If something happens to my furniture, I don't panic. I just replace it. Viola!
-
my house had mismatched because it was my first place. i couldnt stand it. i live with my boyfriend and his all matches. im so happy about that. but my dressers have always matched and my sons nursery was all white and the same style.
-
My furniture is mismatched and I prefer them to match with each other. However, I'm happy with my furniture because they are comfortable at least.
-
I have always wanted a deep burgundy velvet couch.
-
I have mismatched furniture. For the most part I don't mind I just replace things as I need them and try to match it better the next time around. Many furniture items were cheap or donated when I was younger and I still have them. Maybe someday I will be able to replace some of them for more attractive furniture but until then it is functional. If I ever wanted to change it up I could paint some of my mismatched dressers the same color.

Its all matched, my husband picks everything out, our whole living room is tigers and stuff. We got trees too. the cat thinks he lives in the wild, even tried to climb the patio door the other day, probably cuz our living room looks like a jungle.
