I'm presently not a dog owner but rather a former owner of a Rotweiler and Siberian Husky. Due to circumstances I had to find a good home for my Rotweiler and sadly my husky ran away and I could never find him. So now, instead of puppies I have kitties!!!! At least they stay put!!!!

The first dogs I remember having were a pit bull-lab mix and a German shepherd.
Right now, my mom and her boyfriend have a total of 5 dogs between them... 3 pit bull-husky mixes and 2 pit pull-unknown mixes.

Post by: jwallbank on October 16, 2012, 05:15:29 pm: I have a beagle, don't use her for hunting, just mainly a house dog. She seems to need alot of attention. I have had Collie's or Collie mix breeds in the past, very good animals with kids. Now we are empty nester's so we changed the breed.

I'm not sure of the breed of one of our dogs. But our second one is a malamute husky mix.

Post by: Keely222 on October 31, 2012, 06:31:08 pm: I have a Lab-chow mix, He looks like a lab with on ear sticking up like a chow, a slightly longer coat than a normal lab and a thick bushy curly tail like a chow. We adopted him last year from the humane society :)

One of them is some kind of terrier mix I think and the other two I don't know for sure what they're mixed with. I don't think I've ever had a pure bred dog. I love pure breeds, but mutts are just as great. Plus, they don't generally have the health issues that comes with some pure breeds. :thumbsup:
