So we have discussed the best superbowl commercial. How about which in your humble opinion was the worst superbowl commercial?

the GoDaddy commercial with the noisy, sloppy kissing. GROSS!!

I didn't see that many commercials but the ones I did see the Godaddy one was the worst. "the awkward momment" wasn't well done at all. waste of money in my book. :wave: :peace:

Haha...the Go Daddy commercial at least got people talking. It was pretty much uncomfortable for everyone in the room when it was on.

I have to agree with the go daddy commercial. not entertaining or informative.

I agree, I was not for the GO Daddy commerical, I read that they had to do like 65 takes and that the one we saw was actually the censored version :crybaby2:
It did get everyone talken, but it did not get me to go to the go daddy site :BangHead:

Looks like it's unanimous, The Go Daddy commercial was the worst superbowl commercial this year. I, too, thought it was disgusting. It has become quite controversial, though. :icon_rr:

I didnt really like the Volkswagon commercials.

i agree with almost everyone else --the GoDaddy was just horrible--i hope i never have to see that one again!! --all small children will need therapy after that trash

I actually didn't mind the GoDaddy ad... Yes the sloppy kiss was disgusting, but everyone also understood their idea -- sexy meets smart -- and it's stayed on people's minds which is also what you want in an ad. (Plus you can't go wrong with an ad with Bar Rafaeli in it :heart: )
The ad that I found even more disgusting than the GoDaddy ad was the CK ad for underwear showing a buff guy wearing nothing but tighty whiteys (then again that may have been meant more as eye-candy for the ladies).
I actually thought that the worst were the Budweiser ads for their new Black Crown. They were so utterly forgettable that most people don't even remember watching them during the Super Bowl. The only reason why I remember is that my friend that works in a liquor store made a comment about them (that even though the product has been on the shelves for a few weeks now, that this was the first ad she saw featuring it).
Finally there was the Gildan ad (I actually had to Google it, since I couldn't remember who the sponsor was) where a guy wakes up with fluffy handcuffs around his wrist and he tries to sneak out until he realizes that the girl was wearing his favorite T-shirt and tries to take it off her. Actually the first time we watched it, we were trying to figure out what he was doing at the end, and we thought it had something to do with the cat. Then we "rewound" the ad (my friend has a DVR on her TV) and read the text about having a favorite T-shirt and realized that he was trying to take it off the girl. What also bugged me about that ad was why the guy was trying to sneak out in the first place. She wasn't the type that you wake up the next morning with your beer goggles removed. In fact if anything, she was probably out of his league and it'd make more sense were she the one trying to sneak out.

I agree that the GoDaddy commercial was the most tasteless and disgusting commercial - makes my skin crawl just thinking about it! Can you imagine that a group of people came up with that idea and created that commercial and paid BIG BUCKS to get it on TV and got paid to do it. I have several domains with GoDaddy and I'm thinking very seriously of transferring them.

I agree with the Godaddy comercial. The girl actually looked grossed out.

Most everybody seems to think that the Go Daddy commercial was the Worst Superbowl commercial, so I will say that one! since I really thought they were all bad

It looks like we have one commercial taking the lead for the worst Superbowl commercial. That was one visual I really didn't need to see....ever. lol

Sadly, none of them really stand out to me. I can't really remember any of them but I agree that the GoDaddy one was just weird. I have no problem with the idea of smart meets sexy, but the utter silence while we listen to the juicy kiss was just disgusting. I feel like I'm intruding on a private moment when my friends kiss their boyfriends and I'm there, but that commercial was way beyond uncomfortable.

The GoDaddy commercial was the absolute worst. Just the sound alone almost made me barf up my nachos :angry7:
