I'm not really sure what you are asking, but if you are saying your meds don't work or they make you too sleepy, I have the same problems with my RA and fibromyalgia meds.  Most of them make me drowsy.  The only thing I can advise from my experience is to keep checking with your doctor.  My doctor has changed my medications from time to time to find the ones that work the best without getting into the opioid categories.

My husband experiences leg, back and neck pain - 24/7 - along with other ailments caused by the nerve damage to his back.  He has had five back surgeries plus a spinal fusion.  He is heavily medicated for the pain as well as for the depression the pain has caused.  He has to take periodic naps due to the medication.  However, that is well worth it if his pain is relieved in the least bit.  I praise the Lord everyday that I may have my medical problems but they are virtually pain free.

I go to my chiropractor and he helps me. I will never be compeltley pain free, but he helps a lot. Surgery will not be possible for me. He is really good. and has helped me prove  to the doctors that i would be in a wheelchair or at least using a walker by now. But sometimes wonder if they even knew what they were talking about.

I go to a chiropractor for my leg pain and back pain. Finally am feeling relief after a month of 3 times a week at the new chiropractors office.  Massge therapy is wonderful but cannot always afford it. If I could I would be getting massages everyday.  Also accupuncture and accupressure are good. Plus Rick Simpson oil.

Hello, I have joint pain in my knees and I have fibromyalgia, so I can understand your comment about medication.
My job function has changed and I basically try to do what I need to
Do slowly and take breaks when I am doing house work or whatever,
I cannot do to much multi tasking anymore. I still deal with pain, but not as
Bad now as it has been in the past. Everyday is different though.
