Title: Any baseball fans? knows more about baseball terminology?...

What's your take on Jack Morris'(Toronto Blue Jay's broadcaster) comments on accusing Clay Buchholz(Pitcher for Red sox) last night for throwing a spitter? What is a spitter? He said he was cheating by throwing a spitter?

A spitter or spitball is when the pitcher doctors the ball with a foreign substance such as saliva or spit. Typically causes the ball to move more than it normally would.

Clay was suppose to have had some type of substance on his forearm that he kept wiping his pitching hand on before throwing the ball.
