Do you still pay your bills by snail mail, or majority online. How much snail mail do you use?
-
I pay online most of the time. For rent I hand it to the landlord who lives nearby. In the past I have had bills that charged extra to pay online so I sent in checks each month.
-
I do both. For one reason I use mail and buy postage stamps is because there are people who have these jobs that need them. In order for them to keep it relies on the people to use their services in order to survive. :icon_rr:

I do both. I do not trust my computer or my service and would hate to miss a payment and get charged extra. I prefer snail mail. I love getting mail.
-
i am paranoid about private info online, so I still pay mine through the mail.
-
I just pay my bills online. My bills only really consist of my student loans at this point in my life.
-
I pay the bills online because it's just easier to do. My husband handles the rent and I take care of the rest of our bills.
-
I use snail mail for some and the phone for several. I don't pay stuff on line cause I have had my cc stolen from online sites 3 times.
-
It's depend! I pay all my credit cards online, and my electronic bills. Phone bills and internet are by mail.
-
I the majority of my bills online with a couple of exceptions. One company I had a bad experience when conducting my bill pay for them and since then have been doing this manually. Of course this bill is only once a year.
-
I still use snail mail for some of my bills. My other bills are paid through automatic bill payment set up through my cell phone. I need this type of documentation to show that I have a bill coming due and/or that I have paid a bill. This way I don't have to waste time disputing a bill payment.
-
Most of my bills I pay by money order. My cable bill and HughesNet bill is paid by auto bill pay. I pay my telephone bill when I call them and give them my debit card number.

I mail my bills unless I have to send it quickly. The electric company here charges a fee to pay online or by phone.

Awhile back my electric payment got lost. And it was local mail. It was upsetting to me but the girl at the electric company was telling me it's okay, it's only a 1.5% late charge. :bs: The payment mysteriously appeared after I sent a payment to cover the lost one. ???

I pay everything online. It's much easier and faster.

I do a little bit of both..... Some things I prefer to mail!!!

Online! Why spend needless time or money? I only pay through mail if online isn't an option. I even use manilla.com to keep all my bills and accounts seen in one place!

Oh gosh it's gotten so that I feel quite "put upon" if I have to write a CHECK payment to a business ;D There are very few people that I still pay by hand written check. So many reasons to go online and pay bills: time savings and mailing costs being the chief ones. And I really like the record keeping that you get at your fingertips with online bill paying.
-
I pay the majority of my bills online now. I don’t enroll in auto-pay because I would like to know how much I have to pay for my bills.
-
We gradually phased out paying by check using snail mail. Now we use online payments or automatic withdrawals.
-
Pay over the phone mostly, or regular mail occasionally.
I haven't figured out how to pay bills online yet, so I just do what I know works for me :)
-
Some online, some automatically@ set bill dates & ya, still do, regular snail mail.Still, some don't reach it on time & I get fined! :BangHead:
-
I never use snail mail anymore, only if a bill can't be paid online.
-
I use online banking almost all the time. The online time I use snail mail is if the company can't do electronic form of payment and has to be by check. It's just so convenient and easy to do online banking.
-
I pay all my bills online. It's easier and do not have to buy stamps and run to the post office to drop off my mail. I have been doing this for years.

I still use snail mail for my bills and pay by check. I have heard too many horror stories even from my Kids about people drawing their money earlier than setup. My daughter had to pay over $300 in bank fines, in just one year because a company kept on drawing money getting refused and then drawing again, every time they drew and she didn't have the amount in her account she got a $30 penalty. I pay by check and only by check, If the company doesn't have the check in hand, they can't pull the amount. This way I can account for it better with my check book. Sometimes the old ways are the better ways!!
