It used to be the country, but the suburbs have spread so much from the city, that now the country is part of it all!

I moved from the city to the country quite some time ago. I would never ever go back to living in any city. It is so nice and quiet here. I don't mind the 40 minutes it takes me to get to the mall.
-
I live in a suburb of Boston. I love it it is a small town but it is also close to the city. That way you can still go shopping in the city, museums or thearte. When push comes to shove I am acountry girl at heart who sometimes visits the city. However, I would never want to live in the city. :peace:
-
I would love to live in the country again. I raised my children on a farm. When they were all grown I moved to town and have been sorry every since. But I could not take care of a lot of land now as I am 72.
-
I live in the city, but I must say I enjoy vacationing in the country.
-
We live in the country. We own 33 acres and most of it is woods (25 acres?) Good deer hunting. See lots of wildlife. Can go out and have a campfire whenever we want!

I will always be a country girl. I grew up in the country and moved farther into the country as an adult. There's just no where better as far as I'm concerned. I just love all the nature!!

I lived in the country until i was 32 then moved to the big city ( at least for me) lived in them for another 20 years and then back to the rural living. Now i live in a small community and go visit the country. My dad and brother are rural. Farmming. But not me had enough of that for 15 years to last me a life time. Although i miss the raising of farm animals. But i also don't have to get up at the crack of dawn to feed or milk anymore.
-
I live in the city, I have tried living in the country, but it is not for me. The last time I lived in the country, I went outside to my car to go to store, and two coyotes were standing next to my car. I can't handle that, LOL! :D

I live in the suburbs but I think I would like to live in the city. There is really nothing to do in the country and my allergies are much better in the city.
-
I live in a rural neighborhood on .5ish acres. I have chickens, but my kids also live close to other children. I like that it's harder for my neighbors to see into my house via the windows, but still find it easy to walk to their houses.

City, for sure. Not a huge city like NYC, but I definitely wouldn't call this the country.

I'm living in a city, but I've also spent time in the country. I like the city, depending on what city & my location in it. I also like the country, which also depends on where. I think I'd prefer to live somewhere in between. Not too far from the city life but not too far from the country life either. I need to have a fairly equal balance.
