Title: Is God Really as Self-Centered as Jesus Indicates Here?

If I were the servant in this parable Jesus uses to describe the Kingdom of God (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew%2018:23-33/&version=KJV;NKJV;NASB;ESV;NLT), I would reply to the master's judgement with: 'Yeah? Well--to you--the ten-thousand shekels I owed you is just "one golden back-scratcher," but--to me--that hundred owed to me is MY BREAD-&-WATER!'

Does the carelessness of the master in the parable apply to God, or was Jesus making a point more like 'God forgives no matter WHAT the condition might be.'

And wouldn't it have been better if He described what happened when the servant FORGAVE the debt & was thus provided-for by the angels instead?)

I have noticed you post more than you try to make money. Is there a reason why you have not earned much? Do you need help with this?

No. I'm not trying to make money. I'm really trying to increase discussion.

(Besides; if I really wanted to "make money," I would GO GET A JOB! ::) And if I wanted to 'suck this advertising charity-pool dry,' I'd do that! You see, the market-law of the Universe is ... not this topic ...

God being self-centered???

 “You are worthy, Jehovah* our God, to receive the glory+ and the honor+ and the power,+ because you created all things,+ and because of your will they came into existence and were created.”

BTW...that scripture is Rev 4:11
