I do not know if I want to live without the internet. I know I did when
I was younger, but know I am use to getting things done quickly.
What do you think?

I could probably live with out the internet although it would be a whole different world but i would adapt and overcome, in other words learn to get by without it.

Yes I could. When I was growing up there was no internet, and I made it through just fine. The question for me is do I want to live without the internet and the answer is emphatically no.

As i have gotten older and the way i have depended on it...especially on my job...it would be tough.I enjoy it,then i would say radio and then TV!!

no i think i will go in sane without my internet cause its part of my life and my fun time. when my computer breaks down i go crazy trying to find something else to.

Sure I could, but why would I want to? I think about what people who retired did before the Internet was around and it boggles my mind.

yes i could live with out the net but as technology grows its harder and harder to live with out it as such that businesses are using the net more and more especially when companies are using the net for applications to hire people and using the net for business (to many to list). Though i personally never gotten hired when i do apply to a business online but many places are "apply online only" as it stands in todays society. :cat:

I lived without it for most of my life and I DO NOT WANT TO GO BACK... I love the interned, being able to get info immediately...

I am of course, but it makes my life difficult. I am connected with my family thru internet because they are living in other countries without internet it makes my life sad.

Give me food, water and clothing and I can live. But living without the Internet would be rather dull.

Yes definitely I could live without the internet. But it does make life easier!
Also it keeps me in touch with my family who live 4 hours away and for that I am grateful!

I've been using the internet since 1999. Dial up and all that. I think I could live without it. When I go somewhere and there isn't a computer I don't miss it. But when I'm home I use the internet for just about everything.

Realistically, I wouldn't stop breathing or anything (lol), but I'm so used to it being part of my daily life. I use it to find and listen to new music, watch movies and TV shows, catch up with friends and family, research subjects I'm interested in, make money, shop, etc., etc.!!! My world would be turned upside down without the Internet!

it's funny because I was thinking about this just yesterday, I can use my computer without the internet just incase I have to cut my bills down, then I'll just use the computer without the internet and will have to get use to it. it can be done

I could survive i mean live,but wouldn't want to.I always tell my kids we had no cell phones and when we wanted to talk to someone we went home and called them wasn't that amazing.I would like to have free internet someone get on that.

When everybody in this world not using internet, then i believe we could. But when it is only me, oh nooo :D

Certainly! I go 'internet free' for days at a time which includes leaving my cell phone turned off. Never miss a thing and I feel sorry for those that are so dependent on 'staying in touch' to the point that they don't have a real life of their own. Sadly we are seeing an entire generation that are deprived of basic human interactions, skills that are extremely hard to learn once they are out of childhood.
Think about it folks, there WILL come a time when the internet will be completely shut down. Massive solar activity, or the electric grid crashing, or some form of 'cyber warfare' taking place are just a few of the things that could bring down the 'net'. At some time you will be without your precious facething and twits...

There are some people on this planet that do not use the internet, or cell phones!
My Mom is one of those people! Granted she is in her 70's!
I have lived without the internet, but now that I'm a stay at home mom I
need the internet to make a little extra money. So for me it is a must have for now.
I could not live without my family however. :)

No, I don't think that I can... because I can find anything I want in an instance. And it helps me keep in touch with people that are close to me

If it were to go away we would adjust and find something else to do, I love it and don't wanna see it go...but if it were to go, I do wanna keep on living....

i know i personally couldnt as it is the only way that i personally make money being a stay at home mom. of course i use it for other things as well but the number one reason is to earn income.

I know i could live without internet it would just be really hard to do simple tasks that im so used to doing not including staying in touch with distant friends and relatives.

Probably Not For A Long Time. If It Was For A Contest Where I Had To Give Up The Internet And Cell Phone For A Month, I Would. Of Course It Would Be Hard :)

I just got my computer fixed over the weekend and I was fine without having it but I thought down the road I would really

Uh, it's like a lot of things...Can you live without... Sure, all of us could. It doesn't help my heart beat etc. But I know what you mean and it would be hard to imagine at this point.

We lived before the internet. lol. Idk. These days I would say no we cannot live without the internet. Not unless a ton of companies change the way they do business. Most people pay bills, do banking, and a ton of other stuff all online. There are companies that are totally online companies. Like uh Fusion Cash. lol

Uh, no...Not for long anyway. Last summer a storm knocked our power out for 3 days and I almost lost my mind. LOL...

I could live without because I learned to live without it when I Was younger, but I do like to be able to look up whatever I need to, without scouring around for the right book to look it up in.

I think every one can live with out internet, but we choose not to. For me it will be hard not to live with out internet because i do a lot of things, like surveys something I can't do if I wouldn't have internet.

I could live without the internet...but it would be like...trying to live without chocolate. It would be quite an adjustment but I would probably be a better housekeeper and be more physically active.

I don't think its about being spoiled is the problem with internet (yes greed is a factor but i myself take free internet from hot spots so to me its not a problem & i use a PS3 to do it granted that the hot spot is almost right next door but its flaky at times). Mostly its companies, communications, business, and gaming/entertainments that integrated in the web (ex-specially companies). Even schools (well where im at i don't know about every where else) its mandatory to have a device connected to the internet in your home.

I have a hard time going to stores to shop. Shopping online is a tremendous asset to me.

The internet has become more then 50% of my life. LOL I should be ashamed. But I am not I love it. At least I stay safe at home and do my shores at the same time.

I use to be absolutely terrified of the internet. I felt like somebody was watching me all the time and nothing was secret. However, now I've learnt to use the internet to my advantage.. online banking, online browsing of children's birthday presents without going out the door. Plus, there is so much information at your disposable, medical information and research, "how-to's" on you tube. So in answer to your question, no, I don't think I can live without it now. Well I could, but it would be a total inconvenience and frustration.

I could live without it but not happily or efficiently - wow I just gave pause to think about how much of my day centers around the internet and wow I would be lost without it. Please please don't ever leave internet - I need you lol - I love you lol. :silly:

I probably couldn't, I'm on the comupter from morning to night, they'll be no where to go and I couldnt order no more videos

I would if I had too. I would go back to doing jigsaw puzzles, or playing cards and if alone I know several solitaire games. So it would not be a problem since the only thing besides Fusion Cash is games and I try them all and play the ones I like daily. As far as shopping, banking or anything like that I don't do it online I do it in person.

I for 1 am fully aware that I can not live without the internet...lol when it goes out even for a few hours cause of a storm, I start going through withdrol...lol

I couldn't live entirely without it i spent my last summer in a place with no wifi was hard but it got me to go outside and be productive :)

I'm highly antisocial. Being overweight and having health issues has made me a sort of hermit.... people can be cruel. Online I found writing groups and have met some of my best friends. None of them I've actually stood next to in person. Without the internet I'd not be able to contact them, not be able to write with them, not be able to shop without having to go into stores. I can definitely see my mental health suffering. The internet is a must. I'd give up the cable television and keep the net if I had a choice hehe.

I guess it's physically possible to live without it, but it would be a pain in the butt! We are so used to it that it has become a way of life for us. I do think it's funny that we did, at one point, survive without it, but it's like once you know the conveniences of it, you don't ever want to go back to the way it was before!

I would not like to live without the internet.. I would feel totally cut off from the world and would not be able to stay informed.. It would be like living in the dark ages.. I would hate it .. I freak out not having the internet.

Back when I was younger yes, because I was outside all the time, now being a stay at home mom, this is my way of having adult conversations instead of just talking to a 3 month old all day lol.

The Internet is so integrated in my life I cannot depict myself without the convenience. I sort of experience this during my remote International travel endeavors, but I sometimes go through my withdrawal periods during these time too, as I like the resource. I tend to be high strung when something is not right and cannot duplicate a task as I can when I'm at home (i.e. I hate block / censorship when overseas even).

It would be very hard. I just recently moved and was without internet for just a few days and it drove my crazy.

I guess I could if I had to, IE could no longer afford it, broken computer, but I would be VERY miserable for some time.

No I don't believe I can. I love being on the internet, becuz i'm addicted to it lol. I mostly like to be on the internet to get on YouTube and watch videos and going to various virtual pet games websites.

I guess I could live without it, but then I could not do my fusion cash. Would get more done during the day. But darn would also miss hearing from all my friends and family on face book also. Then my darn phone bill would be out of sight.

if i had to,but i like the computer..i also pay my bills and order groceries online..i am out in the country so a lot of my stuff comes from online..but i wouldn't go back to the city and give it it up though..i like playing games and keeping up with family on the computer..we don't get to see eAch much anymore.everyone lives in different places.

The only way for me to get TV in the house is through my phone company and that isn't a possibility for a few months yet as they are still installing the lines in my area. Then, I'll need to weigh the packages to find the most cost effective one.
I use the Internet to get my news and weather, local and for the rest of the country and world. I use to the net to find and apply to jobs in my area. I have an amazingly wonderful friend in Newfoundland I met on the Internet that I talk with several nights a week. I would be absolutely lost without him to talk to and the net makes that possible and so much easier. I find information I need through web searches and am able to work great sites like Fusion Cash to bring in some extra money.
Without the Internet I'd be lost. Absolutely.

I live in a remote area too and still waiting for the cable to be installed in this area. I had DISH up until a couple weeks ago but I disconnected it when they went up on the price AGAIN which took it up above $40/mo. I had started out with the basic package at $30/mo and over a 2-year period they increased it regularly. Finally, I just got so disgusted with it and refused to pay increased rate every year while flipping channels in disgust with the programming that is available. I have satellite Internet b/c the signal is impossible to get here on cell phone unless I go outside in the yard. I spend most of my time on the Internet and pay all my bills on the Net. I also have a friend in Newfoundland that I regularly chat with. Funny, we seem to have a lot in common,stbernard!

No, I would not want to live without it. At this point in my life, I boot up the computer first thing in the morning THEN run the coffeepot. I have come to depend on it.

When my computer is at the doctor or not working, I feel like part of me is missing. I use it so much ...........maybe too much :o

It would take some adjusting but I think I could. I wouldn't want to because of all the advantages.

I think I could, but it would be weird. I could survive on just TV and video games, but being able to communicate with the outside world without having to actually communicate with the outside world is really nice as well. I ordered lunch at a restaurant today, got exactly what I wanted, and only had to tell my order once. And when I walked in, they had it all boxed up and ready so I was litterally in there only a minute or so. For those days when you really don't want to be around people, the internet is an awesome way to still go about your life without having to be around people.

I can't live without internet and I think that no else can either. We have to use the computer for a lot of things, so this is a handy too. I still don't know how we did it years back without the internet.

Anyone can live without the Internet, but it certainly makes life more conveinent. It would be a big change from what most people are used to doing. That's for sure.

I kind of have a skewed opinion because I work from home for a company and it's via the Internet. I get pretty burned out on it, but I also do all of my business with it. I'd hate to be without it although I get sick of playing on it. LOL

I could live without the internet if I had to. After all, years ago there was no internet. But I have to admit I would greatly miss it. It's a great source of entertainment for me. I can make some extra money and keep up with what's going on in the world in real time.

It would be difficult to live without the internet since I accomplish so much using it. If I didn't have use of the internet I would have to learn to adapt and overcome. Hopefully that day will never come.

I could live without the internet - I did so growing up. If there was no internet it would definitely impact how I work as I work in technology, so my work life would be radically different.
Would I want to live without the internet, not really. I see it as a valuable productivity tool. Yes, there are those who use it to spread chaos, but I believe there is more good being done as a result of the internet than bad.

I am pretty sure I can but that means I would have to quit Fusion Cash if that happens because I will not be able to put the work in so I can get paid.

It may be surprising since I'm young but yes. Gardening, reading books, hanging out with friends. There's plenty to keep me occupied. I don't want to live without it though haha.

I could, as long as I had my phone, crafts to do, some outdoor activities like gardening and fishing. And a lot of books to read.

I could live with out internet. I'm not on facebook and I don't spend that much time on it. It's so convenient though for looking up things and keeping up with current events. I probably like the internet more than tv though.

I could live without the internet because I did for half my life but it is so much easier now with it, such as for shopping, recipes, games, connecting with people, etc.

Yes I could but I do not want to. It has made life easy. I can make an appointment, research a subject, shop without leaving my house.
Of course with the good always scams but it seems one didn't have to worry about identity theft.

Yes, I could live without the Internet. In the past I simply loved the Internet, now I could probably do without it. My interest in all things new has worn away and all the sick things that people put on the Net.

I definitely can't live without internet. I do everything on the internet. All the technology we have now would be diminished if we didn't have internet. I am too satisfied with all the electronics we have now to be able to live without them. I absolutely love electronics and different technologies.

15 years ago I would say yes very fast, now we do so much in the internet that it is hard to say we would. One can adopt to not having it, but it would be hard at first. Hay one thing I would miss is doing this, being a Fusioncash member. :sad1:

I wouldn't. Not even for one day. The internet is basically my only source of entertainment now. Without it, my life would be super boring.

Sadly no!! It has became so engrained in my life it would be VERY hard to not have. I have grown up with them in my life where google is my best friend!! I can look up anything, buy stuff, upload download stuff its become my life i cannot go a day or even a few hours without using the internet whether on my laptop, phone or whatever it would be very hard. School would be another story no wikipedia, no google... what would i do for information a dictionary i haven't used one in a decade.... where would i even buy one if i cant use amazon....

I could live with out the internet. I have found out by choice. Going camping for a week really brought me back to reality. Internet is nice and convient, but it is just a luxary.

Constant and never ending improvement and the internet certainly facilitates that goal! I don't believe that the internet is a live or die item...but if it were I would say that we could live without it. I am on the internet for nine hours at my day job and six hours plus at my night job. I am on the internet for twelve hours on Saturdays and Sundays. My income, at present, is dependent on the internet but I have other source with which to make money which could carry me over until I found some way of replacing Internet dependent income should the need ever arise. I do use the internet for just about everything except grocery shopping.

I don't think I'd be able to live without the internet. It's just all around great for anything and everything whether is watching movies, listening to movies, buying stuff. I really can't even imagine being in a world without internet now.

I use the internet for everything! Keeping in contact with friends and family, surveys, job searches, television because I refuse to subscribe to cable lol. I think I would go crazy without the internet its really the only thing that can keep me busy for more than an hour.

Oh I could do without it if I had too. But I do so love seeing the photos of my great-great nephew. They are In Alaska and I am in N.M. quite a distance. But my great niece puts new ones on all most every day. I would also miss Fusion Cash. It is a nice way of earning a little every month. So Thank you Fusion cash.

yeah just recently I quit internet subscription and it was hell, I had nowhere to go and I had nothing to do, I probably couldnt live without it
