I think they go by how much money you make to allow you to do surveys these days. I like the surveys that really want opinions of people and don't discriminate by age race or income. wish we had some.
-
They are looking for a specific person so they can get the opinion of their audience.
If someone made $10,000/year, but the survey was about a pet product that cost $10,000 there would no way they would buy it so they don't really care what that person thinks.
Or it could be a survey about drinking wine, but if you aren't old enough to drink your opinion wouldn't matter to them.

I did the wine survey on another site today. being 21 should be the only qualifying for that one. you can know all about wines and be retired even with a low income.
-
Be good to know what a survey is looking for. Maybe it is just for younger people. You do a lot of surveys and you would think you would qualify more than a few. You would think that being a pet owner you would qualify.
I know the advertiser of the surveys are looking for certain things.

Different groups are going to have different opinions about products. People that earn more money are usually going to buy more expensive pet food. Younger and older people usually have a different relationship with their pets. Males and females treat pets differently. They really don't want to pay for the opinions of the people who aren't there target market
