Title: Rainy Days Vs. Snowy days
Post by: jcalexis on March 17, 2015, 10:26:41 am
I don't know about you guys, I prefer rainy days over snowy days. Once it stops raining, you can outside not to worry about shoveling the rain; but with the snow, you have to go outside to shovel for at least one hour.

I very seldom shovel the snow, just trod thru it.  I have too many places I have to walk and it would take me all day to shovel them all.  The snow melts eventually.  I don't like the cold but I also don't like walking thru mud and puddles.  I guess rain is better though since it's not as cold.

I prefer rainy days. No snow, no ice please. Our fruit trees around town are blooming and we do not need another freeze. I love to go outside after a rain the air is so clean and refreshing.  We have sidewalks to walk on so not so much mud. unless hubby has to bring in some wood or carry out the  trash.

I prefer rainy days as well. Snow loses it's charm for me after December. At least when it rains the air usually smells nice.

It rained today and normally I will take rain over snow. However it is soppose to freeze tonight which will make everything a skating rink which for me is worse than snowu
If it is a warm rainy spring day I will take anytime over snow. I love the smell after a spring or summer rain and how beautiful the gardens look after it rains. :rainbow: :rainbow: :rose: :clover: :peace:

Some states need the rain or snow due to the drought.

I prefer rainy days to snowy ones because it is warming and easier to get around in, the snow has been know to keep everyone inside.

For getting around I'd pick the rain!

I would like rainy day over snowy days.  We have had a bad winter and I missed work several days because I could not get out.  It is raining this morning but that is ok.  I can drive to work and not have to worry.  Hope everyone has a good day and may God bless each of you and keep you safe. :)

We had both here in Alaska. Luckily this year winter is not as cold as it was a year ago so it didn't get to a freezing point to where it was dangerous to drive. Later in a day sun comes out and everything melts. But I would prefer rainy days over snowy.

I completely agree but where I live there is rarely snow so I am not the best judge of that.

We don't get snowy days here in Fresno.  Come to think of it, we don't get many rainy days either.

A rainy day for me, granted I do not like either one of them, but rain is better.  Snow is just nasty, everything stays and the shoveling is awful.  I like rainy days when I can stay in bed all day and enjoy by relaxing with a good book, a dog at your feet and a bed close by to sleep the day away.  But I will take rain over snow anytime

Prefer the rain because life can go on as normal.  But I will admit the snow is pretty. I am in NC an a couple years back we got snow on Christmas which was pretty cool.  We don't shovel here,  it is normally way to wet to shovel.  We had a couple inches of sleet followed by extreme cold back in Feb that I had to do some ice cracking and shoveling on the front steps and a small section of driveway or we would have been house bound for a week!

I prefer the rain because it is safer to drive and walk in the rain than try to do it in frozen pavements after a snow fall. Snow and ice are just too slippery.
