It's sad when anyone commits suicide. Doesn't matter their age. I can't remember any kids being on Everybody Loves Raymond.
-
I read that early this morning. I had been watching Everybody Loves Raymond on TV Land and Nick at Nite lately.

He played one of Ray and Debra's twin sons. I can't remember which one.

That is awful.

I have been watching Everybody Loves Raymond on reruns for the past few years. I was shocked when I saw the young man's picture. I guess we sometimes don't think of child stars as adults when they have not appeared on newer shows. It is really sad. I wonder if he was like some others who were no longer in the spotlight and couldn't cope with it.
-
It's unfortunate that child stars grow up to be ill-equipped for the real world.
There has to be a bridge between the two worlds.
The tally of child stars who later commit suicide keeps racking up. So sad.
-
Oh which one is this. I love the show too. Always watch them.
-
Very sad. All 3 of the kids on the show are siblings in real life also.
-
I read that yesterday, so sad :(

It is so sad. It's hard to imagine that someone so young could be so burdened that they take their own lives. Prayers for his loved ones.
-
Yeah, so sad, he was only 19. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Sweeten family.
-
I agree with everyone about the sadness of this event. Suicide is such a struggle for family/friends left behind wondering if there was anything they could have done. My heart goes out to anyone who has struggled through this pain.
-
Passing away at age 19, that is quite sad, :(
-
Yes, this is very sad and sending prayers to the family during this difficult time. I could not imagine losing my twin (if I was a twin), I know twins are usually very close. So sad that he was so young.

-
this is so sad that at 19 he felt that he had nothing left to live for to the point that he took his own life. i know growing up i was in a dark place as well and there were times that the thought crossed my mind but you just have to keep on keeping on.

It is so sad that someone so young was so depressed.

unfortunately, it's quite common with child stars, they either take their own lives or look to drugs

I'm still so bothered by this. :( ELR is one of my favorite shows, so this was really shocking. I can't imagine what his family is going through, especially his twin. So awful. :(
