i would bring back the closest people to me that have passed away like my mom brother my mother in law and father in law i would give anything to have them back even for a day but i no that can not happen so i will keep them in my heart and soul

My grandfather (who passed away in 2008) and my flexibility/freedom as a civilian (I am in the military).
-
I accept the hand life has dealt me and don't want to wish for anything I can't have. There are too many consequences I may not like if it were even possible.
-
My health, without that life is a battle.

I would have to choose youth. If I had that back, I would make some different life choices. I would never start smoking cigarettes in the first place, for instance, and I would go back to work when my kids were much younger than they actually were when I went back to work.
-
My first reaction is to say...my mother. But eventually I would have to go thru the pain of losing her again. I will leave her where she is...in heaven, happy and at peace.
-
i would say my daughter that passed when she was 8 months about32 yrs ago..buy i wouldnt want her to suffer so...but maybe to keep my granddaughters another year or two..they grow up so fast
-
My deceased husband for sure. He passed in January 2013 and I still miss him each and every day. I just have to believe God has a plan for all of us and although I don't understand it I would sure love to have him back like you said even for just one day.
-
I'm not sure I could narrow this down to just one thing, but my first reaction is to have my high school days back, if I could use the experience that I've gathered through the years. I would do many things differently.
-
If I could have one thing back in my life I will say I want back the last 35 years. I will make major changes and live a much better life.
-
My 8yr old son who passed away Jan 2015, I wish he was still here with us all. I would do anything to have him back and to watch him grow up.
-
If I had a choice, I would choose my youth - going back to my teen years and doing EVERYTHING entirely different!!!
-
I think my brown lab had him for 10yrs and he was another child. If i get another dog will be a small dog but did get a CAT don't know how she'll react to a dog umm.

Me, too, and with those people I would bring back my beloved animals. Like you said, we know we can't do that, but I know they're really never far away - just behind the veil, and always in our hearts and souls.

The one thing I would bring back is my father who passed away in November 2007. He was diagnosed with cancer in his kidney at aged 28, he had his kidney removed and he then lived another 41 years before he finally gave in to cancer in his other kidney. I would have been about 5 years old had he died at that time, I'm so blessed that he got to live until aged 69 as it gave me the chance to spend some quality decades with him!

Have loved ones back/ ancestors, and my arm back to how it used to be without metal plates and screws and skin graft

You are not alone on that thought. I lost my hubby last year. But I would only want him back healthy and the young attitude he always had before he got sick. Keeping them in your heart is all we have left now. BMaston12

old friends and a young body!

I would give anything if I could have my mama back.
-
I'd like to be able to go back and make some different decisions, that have cost me many regrets. I'd also like to have the health I had 20 years ago.
-
I try not to look back...it keeps me from moving ahead.
-
Good health is what I miss the most
-
I have been through a lot, losses of dearly beloved ones, health wise I am ok. I know some day I will be reunited with my loved ones. But I wish we had a better president and a safer country.
-
If I have on thing I would really want back is my health. I regret eating junk food. If I went back I would substitute all the junk food I ate with healthy food and fast forward to where I am now to see what difference healthy eating will do for me. I am sure I would be in much healthier state now lol. Oh well its never too late for anything.

If I could have one thing back it would be to not have married so quickly.
-
My nephew. I miss him so much. It's been so long since I saw him last. I have missed so much of his life. And because of how young he was, and how I only got to see him less and less as he got older, I am almost certain he doesn't remember me. He just had another birthday too. :(

I'd want my mom back! She died 11 years ago and I miss her every day. I know she could have been a major influence on many decisions I have made in my life!

So sorry for your loss. Bless you, I know that is very painful. I thank God everyday for the breath he gives me and my son as we wake. To answer the ?, I do not think I could narrow it down to one person to have back.

My great grandmother well to tell the truth all my dead family members that passed
-
It's unbelievable that I posted a response to this thread, and then a few days later I lose the most important thing I have ever had in my entire life. If I could have anything back in my life, it would be my mother. I am so lost without her. I would do whatever it took to get her back or die myself trying. She's been my everything even though I didn't always know it. I am completely devastated and so torn up inside and out. I have never felt so much emotion and pain and so jumbled up ever before.
-
I would want my grandma and my dad back. Sorry to anyone here who has lost a loved one. I know it must be extremely difficult for you

I would do a lot of things more differently & just enjoy the moment & the people love with a thousand percent quality!

-
I would have like to have waited to get married.
-
Health. Kind of weird though since I clearly wasn't so healthy in the past. If I was I wouldn't have had the issues I had/have.
-
the feeling of reading my favorite book series for the first time
-
I would not wish for the dead to rise, they are at peace. I would wish for health for my family and me.
