Changing of the guard is sad. Seeing the old go out for a new regime is sometimes scary. What will happen to the show. I like Jimmy Fallon as the host replacement for Leno. I hope that the same happens to Letterman. Good retirement Dave! BMaston12

Post by: bowrunner on May 20, 2015, 04:08:57 pm: I could care less about his first, last or in-between show but I am glad he is involved in IndyCar racing to the tune of being a co-owner of Graham Rahal's car with Bobby Rahal, Graham's dad, which is known as Rahal Letterman Racing. His show was never that good anyway.

Post by: JediJohnnie on May 21, 2015, 12:45:28 am: I've always kinda liked Dave. I didn't watch everyday without fail,but I'd often tune in and get a kick out of his dry humor and top ten lists. I tuned in tonight to bid him farewell.

He will be missed and not easily replaced! :(

Post by: gaylasue on May 21, 2015, 08:06:15 am: I use to watch Letterman when he had a talk show that came on at 9:00 a.m. in the morning. I remember him being very funny. I didn't watch very often when he took the late night show. It's hard to stay up late when you have to get up early in the mornings....

Post by: plennis on May 23, 2015, 03:42:48 pm: I always flipped around to see who had guests I wanted to see. I did like Letterman and Leno both a lot. I will miss him. The guy who is replacing Craig Ferguson so far seems pretty entertaining.

He doesn't need to win any popularity contests to please me, he was FUNNY and that's all I came for.
