I went to Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and graduated c-u-m (had to hyphenate because of the censors) laude with a Bachelor's in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Spanish. I actually started out to get a degree in Spanish, but I was working full time and that didn't work out so I changed my major. I did, however, do my senior project in Costa Rica. That was fun.
I was working on campus at the time and they paid my tuition. I just had to pay my fees. I was a non-traditional student (translated WAY OLDER) but I walked because I was encouraged to do so. I'm glad I did because my family came to see me and I was very proud. :D
They don't offer that degree anymore but it's a pretty broad category of classes. I enjoyed it. It's a beautiful campus. I adored all my teachers.

I attended my local county college, Middlesex County College and earned my associate's degree in Political Science because at the time, I wanted to be a politician. I don't know what I was thinking! Then I changed my mind and wanted to study law enforcement, so I attended Monmouth University, however, I had to drop out for personal reasons and never finished my bachelor's degree. I miss going to school though. I always loved the feeling of a new semester, and learning something new. I wish I could go back, but right now, it's just not in the cards for me. :'(

I went to the University of Wisconsin...Go Badgers! I am actually headed back, from Colorado to Wisconsin, to catch a Badger's game with my daughter who is attending college in Colorado. Her college is a D2 sports program so she feels left out and roots for my alma mater. Her school is very specialized-I do not think I could make it through four years there but she is adapting quite well. I am pretty amazed at how expensive tuition and sports are these days. My sports were free. My son costs about three hundred a month. His high school tuition at about fifteen thousand is almost double what my college tuition was! My daughter has gotten a lot of scholarships which is good because I think that her tuition is at about forty six thousand, in-state, a year.

I went to PCC and they basically placed me in a deep hole and left me there. I would never recommend that community college to anyone even if ya wanna try.
