I read more magazines than books and I do not do much reading online, it bothers my eyes most of the time.
-
Either...it depends...but I have heard that memory retention is better with paperbacks
-
I prefer paperback books. I like the smell and feel of books, though I still own a kindle and enjoy it as well.
I'll always love tangible books.
-
I like reading books or magazines much better than on a computer.
-
I prefer the paper backs over the kindle.
-
i like paper books...more relaxing to me
-
I read news articles etc online, but prefer paper books over kindle-type.
I am afraid my great-grandson's generation won't read paper books, because there is no light, no buttons, no apps etc.
A lot of kids are already addicted to the electronics. Instead of learning through investigating, research, investigation in the real world there is just accepting what is on an electronic tool.
Even electronic conversations with someone in the same room....what a shame!

I still prefer books over kindles. Since I'm on a laptop a lot for school, I actually enjoy the break my eyes get from a non electronic reading.
-
I really prefer paper back, but do read some on my kindle.

I agree! I work so much on the computer/laptop that it's nice to read a paperback. I got a kindle as a gift a few years ago and have read a few books with it but prefer a paperback.
-
I prefer reading a book vs. the kindle. Hopefully in the future libraries won't be a thing of the past.
-
I want to read on paper back book more. I have a problem with my eyes so cannot read in the computer for long.
-
I read both, but like the paper back books more,
-
I don't think I will ever like reading Kindle books. I'm too old school. I absolutely love the feel of a paper back book in my hands, the older, the better. The look, feel, and touch of a physical book is all part of the reading experience. And while we're at it, I miss the card catalog in the library!!!!!
-
Neither sorry I am not a book reader never have been.
-
I don't have a kindle . I read books and magazines when I have time. I work a full time job sothat keeps me pretty busy. :)
-
paper back or hard cover
-
I do little of either, I'm afraid (I always feel like I am missing out on earning money online when I pick up a book)!
But I do like a little bit of both. I love the smell of a paperback, but I also love that I can carry dozens and dozens of book with me on my Kindle. So the Kindle is usually my medium of choice when I am traveling. I LOVE my Kindle when I take the train!
-
I prefer hard cover books over paperbacks and Kindle.
-
I read paper backs, I dont have a kindle, and reading online would be uncomfortable for me
-
I can't live without my kindle
-
There's something about the crisp white pages and the smell of a brand new reading book, I love it! Strangely, it wasn't until my thirties that I suddenly found reading enjoyable. I was able to read from an early age, however there was something that blocked the information from going into my brain so if somebody asked what my book was about, I really struggled to answer the question. Then a good friend said to me, it's not that you can't ready, it's that you haven't found the right type of book yet! How right she was.
-
I thought I would really enjoy a Kindle. I got one for Christmas 5 years ago. Haven't used in 3. I do not like the digital print, it makes me sleepy! Real books all the way! (Except I prefer paperback over hardback)
-
I enjoy reading both but my kindle is sometimes more convenient.
-
I like paper back books better because they just feel more natural than kindles.
-
I don't have a Kindle and am not sure I would like one. I like a book that is a book.
-
I don't have a kindle so do all my reading from the printed page. Guess I am behind times :-\
-
I know I am behind times but I like reading paperbacks or hardback books. There is something about going to the library and going through all the books looking for one I want to read. Someday I may buy a kindle but not just right not.
-
I can't stand the electronic readers. I have to have an actual book in my hands.
-
kindle rocks! I love it :angel11:
-
I like the way way paperbacks bend...kindles are too stiff to hold
-
i have a noon color,,,,,, use every day to read with. But,,,,,, when I go on Vacation to the beach you just have to have a real book LOL something about the feel of the pages on your fingers LOL ( plus if someone wants to steel your book so be it ) :)
-
I would rather sit down with a book in hand. I also love the being able to use my phone when I am not at home. I use the online version more just out of convenience.
-
I prefer to read on paper thank kindle books, I am old fashion I guess :-\
-
I perfer paper backs. too much is already gone, like i don't think kids will know what a actual book is. ???
-
still prefer the old hard copies! :highfive:
-
I don't have a kindle, but I do have an android tablet and smartphone that has the amazon kindle app and the google books app. I read books on them sometimes and they are ok, but prefer paperback books. I just like hold them and turn the pages. It is more relaxing.
-
I am still old fashioned. I like paper books and paper newspapers.
-
Regular boks are better for me, tablet books are nice but more trouble.
-
I don't have a kindle, so I guess I prefer paperback. I do read a lot of stuff on the internet, articles not books.
-
I prefer paperback books.
-
ihavent read a paperback book in a long time and I don't own a kindle
-
I prefer reading both but I like the feel of turning a page of a book. But i still enjoy a kindle as well.
-
i hate ereaders if im reading it is either book or a magazine there is something about holding that book in your hands and the smell of the pages that is just as enjoyable as reading the story.
-
Nothing can replace the feeling of holding an actual book in your hand and actually flipping through the pages. Books all the way!
-
I don't mind reading books on an ipad but I love the feel and smell of a new book more.
-
I read both paper back and kindle books, it a convenience being able to travel with multiple books and no extra weight.
-
paper back books is my preference. I love the covers
-
It depends on how bright the screen is for me.
-
I prefer paper back books. There is just something more real about reading an actual book vs reading it on a device.
-
Reading paper back to me gives me more the feeling im in the story itself when reading it. I don't get that when reading a book off kindle
