Title: Nasty Trojans In The Videos
Post by: paulann1212 on February 05, 2016, 05:05:26 am
Just be careful folks there are some NASTY trojans in the Videos. They now require you to put a captch in on the Video Carousel and some others. After you put the captcha in your entire screen turns blue and you are told you need to call Microsoft..

There really is no excuse for this

I hope this is not true.  FusionCash has been a safe site for far too long to have this happen.

I've had this experience.  Several of the videos have messages such as this.  At first, I thought it might be serious but my computer has not started to act strange so I am not sure there is a problem.

I've not had this happen but thanks for the heads up.  Like others have said before I really hope this is not true because Fusion Cash is one of the few sites that I have never had to worry about.   ???

I haven't been able to get those videos to even work in the last few days, so I have not experienced this. But I wonder if maybe that's why the videos aren't working.

I've never had this happen to me on FC.... are you sure it's the videos/FC and not adware that you picked up somewhere else that is telling you that your computer is infected? I've gotten those before and they pop up while I'm surfing, etc

I had encountered the same exact problem.  I could not close the pop up window.

Be careful, I encounter two more today.
1st one was asking me to install new Flash player for windows 10.
2nd one was saying my ip address was infected with a virus, telling me to call a toll free phone number on the screen.

I've had popups like that! Oh honey, that's all they are. Don't worry about it. Popups like that are very, VERY common. I've seen them around for years. They aren't a virus or a trojan, but they are annoying as some you can't X out of. I mean if you install whatever they want you to install you probably WILL get a trojan, and if you call the number you might get scammed out of money. So you all just ignore them!

I had encountered the same exact problem.  I could not close the pop up window.

When the "white screen" pops up, hit the "x" at the top right. When the white screen pops up again, scroll to the bottom of the page and there's a box that you check to get out of both the white and blue screen. I forget what it says, but it works every time.

I had something similar happen to me on FC a few weeks back. Other members were having the same problem with the videos that day.

I reported it to Fusion Cash but by the time they investigated, all the videos were ok.

If it happens again, open a support ticket giving Fusion Cash the name of the video or better yet, take a screen shot or copy the video info and attach.

The videos with the amount per 24 hours won't work for me know I click start and in about 2 seconds it goes back to the start page.

Now you know why I do all these with Linux instead of Windows.

Thanks for the info! I personally have not ran into any problems like that when I do my videos, but hopefully this will be fixed if it's becoming a problem. You should definitely keep up with which videos are doing this to you in case you need to submit a support ticket so they'll know exactly where to look for the problem. I hope you don't have any more trouble with this!

I know and I'm getting very tired of this! Fusion needs to do something about it too! It is annoying and sometimes it takes a few tries to get rid of it.

I had that happen today and I just clicked it again, then it worked as it was supposed to.

Wow I can't believe this. Shouldn't FusionCash vet the banners they are posting so that we don't get trojans on our computers?

Yeah I had that problem once, and sometimes I get something to do with the Adobe reader update, I just close the whole Web window, but yes we have to be careful, Fusion Cash has been very good with not allowing viruses but no one can be 100% protected,

I haven't encountered anything like this, I'm sorry to hear you've all had trouble . I run my virus protection and it warns and blocks any malicious websites before I can open them.

Hello everyone out there in Fusion Cash World
Thank you to the one who warned us about the Capcha Trojans" that the carousel videos are caused by entering your captcha .
I will be sure to stay away from these videos!

Unfortunately, I had the same thing to happen to me.  That was not fun at all.  Really hard for a person like me that knows just enough about technology to get by.  I hope not to experience that again.

I have not yet seen the Nasty Trojans video yet and I hope that I do not, but if a video has adult content in it, the community should be made aware of it.

When you have to do a captcha for the 1 cent carousel video's, I have found that "none are available".  So if it requires a captcha, I just move on.
