I have been credited several times when I take the Hipmunk Offer but there have been many more times when I don't get credit. I know other members have posted about this offer and getting credit sometimes while not getting credit other times.
I gave up on the Hipmunk Hotel because I did not get credit over and over again. However, last night, I thought that I would try once again and, would you believe, I got credit. I used chrome and I spent a lot of time searching. I clicked on severals results but I have done the same thing many times over without getting credit so I do not understand why I get credit sometimes and not other times.

Clean out your cookies and try different browsers. The 35c one has credited me every time I have tried it.

I have a macbook and am uncertain how to clear cookies. Is that the same thing as emptying cache? Can you tell me where to go to to clear cookies

I use CCleaner. I think others here have posted about using this, too. After you pull it up you hit 'analyze' and it gives you a list of files. You'll see the cookies in the list. It works! I never do Hipmunk without going to CCleaner first to clear cookies.

This is a nice and easy offer. And it was great timing as I am traveling next week so I was truly interested in the results.

I quit doing it because I was not getting credit. I will try it again, hopefully it will credit this time...I need the cash! :glasses-nerdy:

I tried it again, didn't get credit. I've tried both FireFox and Chrome. And I don't have Adblocker on either, so I don't know what's going on with it.

Sometimes it takes several hours to get from Hipmunk offer.

Hipmunk has been my bread and butter offer for quite some time now. The only thing I can say is that I use Firefox and I clear my browser often. I have been credited every day on the hotel search.

That is interesting how some people get credit and others do not. I got credit 1 time the first time I did it. Since then nothing.

I agree completely with this. I have never had such a consistent earning flow here (I would get a couple good days and then back to just getting over the 5 cent for ptc), I keep waiting for it to disappear. I too use Firefox and clear the browser daily (I keep the login info but clear everything else).

Same here. Credit sometimes but not always which is fine with me because it is such an easy offer and worth the time.

I have yet to get either the 35c or the other one (4c?) to credit at all. I just hve them hidden so I dont waste more time attempting them

So I started clearing cookies right before clicking on the offer and once I got to the offer I logged in before starting my search. I think I've gotten credit every time since I started doing this.
Bostonphil, I have a Mac desktop and laptop. To clear my cookies I go to the browser menu at the very top of the computer screen, click on "Firefox," click "Preferences," click "Privacy," then click link that says, "Clear your recent history." In Chrome, I click on "History" then the link that comes up will say, "Clear browsing data." Hope this helps!

Thank you. This does help. have done this in the past and after I cleared my history or browsing, I was forced to log in all the sites where I was always logged in. I Had to look up user names and passwords. Does that happen to you?

Use Google Chrome and it will save your sign-in info.

In FireFox you have the option to uncheck items I clear all except for login data, otherwise I am scrambling, important ones are all written down in a notebook but still have to hunt to find them in the notebook.

Yes, Bostonphil! It's a pain when you have to do that! I don't understand my settings well enough to know what to do, but at least for most of my sites, the user id's and passwords come back automatically even after I've cleared the history. I think there is a checkbox in at least some of these browsers that you can check (or uncheck) that allows you to clear cookies without clearing your logon id's as well.

I cleared out my Cookies and Cache this morning...and lo-and-behold Hipmunk $.35 credits, but most of the other carousel/content videos arent working.

The Hipmunk offer has been crediting me every day for at least two months, using FireFox but today it did not. I tried it on Chrome later and it credited.
