Title: Court Documents
Post by: Taytina42 on March 04, 2017, 06:14:18 pm
I have like the dumbest problem with Fusion right now.  I signed up to this site back in 2008 never really did a survey and forgot about the site.  Last year my daughter mentioned the site to me so I thought that I would sign up but I already was a member, so I updated my information.  Since 2008 I have gotten married moved to another state etc, etc.  Well recently I finally made it to $30 of completed surveys and CASHED OUT, well I thought that I was, but I can't because Fusions wants a court document saying what my name is now and what it used to be. Why would I send any court documents to anyone unless I had a million dollars coming?

I do think it's a bit odd that they are asking for a "court document".   Are you sure it's a court document or did they ask for something to verify your identity, such as a drivers license.   I would probably email back and ask them what type of specific document they are looking for and would a copy of a drivers license work.

You have to verify your identity before they pay you. They're asking for a court document(most likely marriage license) because that's what is going to show that you're still the same person with a different name.

I'd have to say that I don't consider it to be the least bit odd.  You signed up under the name X and now you are trying to cash out under the name Y.  If you truly are the same person just with a legal name change, the court documents would verify that. Whether it's for $1,000,000 or $30, why should it matter that Fusion Cash is trying to make sure you aren't someone trying to game the system?
