Aaron Hernandez committed suicide by hanging himself in his prison cell yesterday. He had been sentenced to life imprisment for murder.

Sad, though I'm not really too surprised I guess...
-
who was he?
-
He just saved taxpayers $$$$$ by not having to keep him in prison for life.
-
who was he?
He was a baseball player whose world and future came crashing down when he committed murder. Funny. He had the world by the butt and was carving out a great future when he did that stupid act of murder. Did he really think he was going to get away with it?

If a murderer wants to kill themselves, that's one death I'll accept.

I couldn't help feel sorry that he committed suicide even though he was in prison for life. It seems a shame his life went down hill when he had great promise as a baseball player. I guess that's why they say karma comes back around. A killier, killing himself. I still feel bad for him. His legacy is just death. A sad shame for life that could have been great.

Sad, just sad

It is so said I couldn't believe it

Sad. I will be praying for his daughter. I am sorry he threw opportunities away and took a dark path. He never got help. The mental health system should have done much better.

This man definitely had issues - that's the most I can say in comment.

There are monsters with friendly faces and angels with scars.

What a tragic story.
He had achieved a charmed life, getting a 40 million dollar contract from the Patriots, then he threw it all away... such a wasted life.

who was he?
He's a former Patriot football player, who was in prison for murder. In fact was just acquitted of a double murder a few days ago. Then hangs himself

He was actually a football player who played for the New England patriots. He killed someone and was in jail for life without parole.

The whole thing is just tragic

He was a NFL Football player . Not sure if I believe he hung himself. I saw his reaction to the acquittal last week. I am guessing something else must have been going on . I just find it all hard to believe he was going for an appeal to his first charge. I guess we will never know.
