Country music lost a great musician today as Troy Gentry (of MontgomeryGentry) was killed in a helicopter crash. Apparently he was on his way to a concert in New Jersey.
R.I.P.

Troy Gentry was a horrible man.
Troy was Gentry was rich, handsome, and famous. Still, he felt that in order to be happy he had to kill something just because he could.
He bought a tame black bear named Cubby, put it in an enclosure, shot it, and tagged it as if it were a wild animal.
Karma always comes aback around.
Justice for Cubby.
:angry7: :crybaby2: :dontknow: :BangHead:

I don't listen to much country music anymore but I did like their music and was sad to hear of the helicopter crash that killed him.
-
I couldn't believe it when I heard, so sad :(
-
Very sad about the crash, accidents happen and we all hate to lose people even famous people. So sad.
-
I never heard any of their music but I knew who he was. Horrible what happened to him. I still haven't heard what exactly caused the crash.

When I heard about that a few weeks ago it was so very sad. R.I.P.

So heart broken to learn Troy Gentry of Montomery Gentry had died in a helicopter crash. I was a fan of theirs since day one and will miss their mark upon the country music scene. It seems a lot of country artists die from aerial crashes. It's like their cursed or something. Patsy Cline, Jim Reeves, Reba's backup band, John Denver etc. Just so heartbreaking.

I've heard of him, nothing more. But what a tragic ending.

I don't like country music. Sad to see they died :'( :'( :'(

Sorry to hear about him, but never heard of him

Do not even try to make me feel bad or give me the "shame on you" crap.
This is not about being perfect.
He was a human being without any humanity. So, if YOU want to feel bad, you go right ahead.
However, do not make me feel bad for someone who thought it was "fun" to kill an animal for no other reason than it satisfied his need to feel powerful.
People like you are the problem. You say stupid things like "he was a human being," or make statements about being "perfect" as if being imperfect is a free pass to do whatever you want to whomever you please. Being a flawed human is not a get out of jail free card.
I doubt you would be making excuses for animal cruelty if it was committed by someone who was not so famous.
THERE IS NO EXCUSE.
People like you are why there are people like me.
I refuse to mourn someone simply because he was "human."
Peddle your crap elsewhere.

Never heard of him. He entrapped a bear in an enclosure and killed it? Later he dies "in a helicopter"? Guess what goes around, comes around.

If he did those horrible things to animals, that's just karma hitting him back ten fold! If the description of his death was that horrific, his unjust deeds during his life time must've been really horrible! I have no right to judge a man I don't even no but his maker will have a lot of questions, he's probably gonna have a hard time answering.
