it's easy to follow a game as it's played.
the only time it can be boring is when there are no hits at all for several innings.

My mom , even at 70 knew every player and all the info on them, she was one smart cookie when it came to baseball and was a hoot taking to a game. She had her favorites, she called them her boys, funny as all get out... she'd just cry when they came up to bat. Was always easy getting gifts for her any of the boys pictures playing cards or autographs !! A signed ball was her favorite.
