I hardly ever use a cook book, with the Internet at my fingertips and searching that is so easy and accurate.

I don't use cookbooks, only if I want a meal that is extreme. I have one large cookbook.  :cat:

I normally just go to the internet for recipes. It keeps cost down from buying a cookbook since most of the recipes can be found on the internet.

I do have a few cookbooks at home. I sometimes go through one and look for a picture of something I think looks good and easy to fix.

I have two cookbooks that I would be excited to put to use, but have inexcusably thus far not put to work.  :( I guess I felt like the ingredients would be too pricey to fit into my total food budget for the week.

Yes, I do use cookbooks because I have old, favorite recipes that I refer to over and over again.  It's so easy and familiar and comforting to know exactly where to find the recipes I've been using for years.  But if I'm looking for something specific or something new and different to cook, I usually go to the Internet.

When i cook, i just cook what i know how to make. If i am trying to cook something new than i would try and do it myself then if i cant i would just use the internet to search what i am trying to cook.

I am constantly checking out different magazines that have recipes from work and my daytime job. I will copy the recipes down and make them at home and, if the family approves, make a copy for future use which I stash in my favorite cook books. Lately I have been using the internet more often for fresh recipes. I try to cook one new recipe every two weeks. Sunday I tried a new recipe for chicken noodle soup and it turned out awesome! My youngest just moved off to college so I am making the mistake of cooking for three to four people. I do leftovers twice a week for lunch and have salads the other three days. I made salmon this evening and there are enough left overs to last us till next Monday. My son is coming home this weekend, laves salmon, and will probably demolish most of it by Sunday.

I learned so much from my mom and grandma,  I can make about anything.   But, I do go online occasionally to look for new ideas!

I have a few recipes in cookbooks I refer to but most of the time if I'm looking for something new I just google it and use something from online. I respect using real books but you can't beat the variety of options the internet offers.

I don't usually cook, because my husband does all the cooking. But when I do cook, I have to have a cookbook or a recipe from the Internet. My husband can have just a few ingredients and be able to whip something delicious together. I, on the other hand, have to plod through a recipe, making sure I have all the ingredients beforehand and following the directions to a T. And then my labors still produce a meal that is inferior to one of his thrown together meals!  :-[
