I generally use Advil or store brands for Pain Relief, Headaches/ Migraines .
-
I use store brand -- Walmart -- generic motrin/advil/ibuprofen for decades, I've found it gives me pain relief same as the name brand & so much cheaper.
-
I try to use good old Aspirins, and i use the wonder golden paste made with Turmeric trust me don't knock it till you have tried it. Its amazing !
-
My husband swears by WalMart generic for Tylenol. I myself use the brand Tylenol. I have not had any luck with the generic like my husband did.
-
i like Aleve it works great for me !
-
I usually use Excedrin and/or Tylenol. Sometimes the headache is a little different and then Aleve works pretty well. Other times turmeric actually works just as good. It really depends on the headache.
-
I use Great Value from Walmart. Works just as well as Advil or Motrin and saves money.
-
a cold pack works wonders.
so does the acupressure point between your thumb and first finger.
someone can pinch you or you can pinch yourself.
press- release - press - release - press - release
your headache or head pressure will fade within fifteen minutes.

The CDC needs to think think think again. Everything dose a job on our kidneys, and otc meds ingredients can be stored in your liver, and if something that is too strong for your body at that time which can travel to your pancreas, you can get appendicitis and gallbladder problems. So, I don't know pain is real :bad:

I take Advil as well when I get aches and pains and a tough headache.
-
Use ibruprofen walmart equal brand so much cheaper then advil. 2 works great on headache or sore throat.
-
Excedren is great for pain. Whenever I feel a headache coming, it knocks it out quickly.
-
Aleve helps with my back pain big time.
-
I usually like to use Excedrin, but it depends on the type of pain you are having.
-
I use motrin for backache, headaches and muscle aches. Motrin works for me
-
Walmart Ibuprofen works well for me. Walmart Severe Sinus Headache works on my sinus headaches.
-
I am not really sure, but if over the counter Med is the same as the prescription med, than take them.
-
I take Store brand Naproxen for joint and menstrual pain. Since I get a discount on store brand I try and buy it for everything. I do have Ibuprofen and Tylonal (again store brand) available for headaches and fevers. My husband is anti store brand. I have a sister who went through 2 1/2 - 3 years of pharmacy school before dropping out and she said it's the same medicine and doses... I don't buy name brand jeans, don't buy name brand drugs.
-
We avoid any meds if possible but sometimes we have to use something, for me it's Aleve. Now on the rare occasions when I get a cold, it's Nyquil all the way.
-
Ibuprofen works for so many things, I'd have to vote for it as the best.
:fish:
-
I think it's depend on the individual. I use Aleve.
-
The store brands are the same thing. Go with whichever is cheaper (which may be the name brand after coupons/discounts) ...
-
I use store brand -- Walmart -- generic motrin/advil/ibuprofen for decades, I've found it gives me pain relief same as the name brand & so much cheaper.
But Advil and ibuprofen aren’t quite the same. Advil is candy-coated ibuprofen. There is no such thing as natural candy-coating.
-
I only use these in extreme pain. I use generic, Walmart or Walgreens ibuprofin. (sp?)
Mostly, I get allergic reactions from them, so often just go to a htg pad. Solves a lot of pain problems, without money. Can use in bed, and helps you go to sleep.
I have learned to be more pain tolerant, or use a rub....for arthritis .
Pain meds, otc or rx all have their side affects, and I don't wan'em. I tend to get some reaction to them.

I don't know, have tried several several, none are good for the liver or kidneys I don't think so unless I really need to take them I stay away from them and when I do take I drink plenty of water!
-
Normally, when I need OTC medication, it's when I've been doing more physical things than I usually do and I not only want relief from aches and pains but I also want to sleep. See, I have arthritis in about all my joints and also don't sleep very well. So what I take is Motrin PM usually. It relieves the aches, knocks me out, and I usually wake up without feeling like somebody beat me up!

We've used the Costco Kirkland brand of ibuprophen for years and years. It's about the same as Walmart's Equate, but we're just used to getting the big bottles at Costco. We haven't bought a name brand (Advil and Motrin) for a very, very long time. If there's any way to pinch a penny, I'm in there pinching away, LOL!

I tend to use Excedrin. It is VERY effective against migraines.
-
i have no idea i dont get that many headaches
-
I try to use good old Aspirins, and i use the wonder golden paste made with Turmeric trust me don't knock it till you have tried it. Its amazing !
Sounds great … :)
-
I wouldn't take Advil or anything in that class. I stick with natural supplements and that has served me a thousand times better than anything like advil.
-
I forgot what pain means, especially headache.I am drinking my Shakeology every single day and my migraines are gone.
-
Tell me and I will forget. Show me and I might remember. Involve me and I will understand … Ben Franklin … :)
-
I use Motrin more than anything, seems to be the cures for almost everything that ails me.
-
I take aspirin or if I have bad pain, I'll take naproxen.
-
think Motrin is good for pain and Excedrin for really bad headaches
-
We have the store brand of each in the house for just in case we need them.
-
There really isn't any difference in generic and brand name.
-
I think your advil and motron is best. Flonase for sinus is so great.
