So its legal now to buy pot. One thing is the taxes are high so folks may just stick with buying from the guy down the street.Never thought it was a gate way drug. If I used which I'm sure I wont but you never know. It would be for sleeping.

Edibles can be dangerous. I had a really bad experience when I tried edibles once, so be careful. Pot for me is mostly a waste of money. It doesn't have a huge effect on me, though I understand that others love it. We're fighting for freedom, so should we be free to smoke a plant? I'm all for legalizing it. Just not my thing. I don't drink alcohol either but I don't support prohibition. Lol

I never thought I would see it in my lifetime.

It's amazing that marijuana is now legal, not in all states. What next-heroin and other deadly drugs being made available. There are too many people with mental issues and should not be sold to them. Oh well, marijuana is legal but is it ok to sell to everybody?

Actually, marijuana is probably less dangerous than alcohol and other street drugs. I guess if alcohol is legal we can try marijuana for a while. I'm sure the problems with it, if any, will come to light over the next several years.
The main thing about marijuana that I support is the medicinal benefits from it for many people with conditions it can help.
I believe that in any state, if you have a condition that traditional medicine is having little to no effect, the person should be allowed to try marijuana to see if it helps.

Right now, I'm glad it isn't legal in our state. I don't think I would use it if it were though!

I would rather it be legal for someone with mental issues to buy marijuana than to allow them to purchase a gun.

Unfortunately, it is legal in my state (Washington State). That, coupled with the extreme protesters and environmentalists, makes for some very interesting individuals. I am actually looking forward to leaving the state when my time comes.

We still do not know the long time effects of marijuana use.
I will watch...and not touch!

I know that it does have some medicinal good things about it, but I don't want to exposed to it and I don't think I should have to be. My step grandson smokes it and I have to smell it. His parents don't do anything about it and what is worse is that my two year grandson is in the same room as I am and he has to smell it too.

Not legal here but I have family in Colorado. They have told me about how much the taxes have done for their area. Still confuses me as to why people pay the high taxes instead getting it the old way.
-
I don't think it's a good idea to legalize it.

Marijuana maybe legal now in some states, but Trump the idiot is trying to veto all of it.

There is always going to be a down side to things. Marijuana is no different.

I believe that, if alcohol and cigarettes are legal, marijuana should be legal. I do not see any purpose for cigarettes except a possible calming effect. Alcohol and marijuana both create altered states based on the toxins/poison ingested. I have seen many drunks and a large percentage of them turn into angry drunks. I have also seen many people that are high on marijuana and I do not see very many instances of anger-quite the opposite (giggling, grins, somewhat quiet). I live in Colorado and I do not see a marked difference in absent minded drivers or criminal activity since the legalization of marijuana. I also do not see the benefits of the marijuana taxes. I do not think that they have put enough controls on the legislators and money is not being allotted to the areas where it is needed most. Trying to repeal the legal status seems senseless and more in line with political agendas.

Smell it a lot......wonder what I was thinking. Good luck to you.

All my buds are happy now since they don't need to pay for their cards anymore.
