How many of us control our money rather than let our money control us? Husband has been playing Ramsey talk show over u-tube since the first of January this year and I now find myself thinking about money more than ever.

The only problem with money is:
"There is never enough money to do
all the things we need to do".

My Husband is the one control the money. He is very good for that, a banker for all his life. A *bleep* banker as he said.

I ‘ve been trying to earn money online faster. It gets easier later in the year.
-
I only think about money when I am determined to pay something off or get a head a little.

I have gotten better at controlling my money but still have some work to do. Impulse spending can be a problem.

My version of controlling my money doesn't necessarily include being able to save which I wish I could - however I pay my bills first and foremost and then buy food and other things I need. I buy gas cards at our grocery store when they give you $10 off a $50 card. On social security I do what I can. :moneymouth:

I hear you. It is tough on a fixed income to be to get ahead, plus my husband has been on partial disability for 2 years so lots of surprise expenditures with that. Be great when hs is able to get back to work.

I think I'm pretty good at it, but could do better. Wish I had enough to not worry about it at all. :peace:

My hubby works only part time as a sub. teacher at high school, I am a stay at home housewife. But we both volunteer at the ministry. But I control the money. Meaning i take care of all of the bills. We refinanced the house in 2014 so we could get a lot of things done. Well we still have part of it in the savings, but have replaced the roof, all 13 windows had the outside stuccoed and textured with a paint job, still have plenty to do inside. We borrowed it in 2014 and I have almost paid the whole thing off using my social security check and we live off of what his is and also pay all the bills. It can and has been tight once in a while because I make 2 payments a month. and will be paid off in another 2 years. can't wait.

heck, i in survival mode, so I have to control my dough to avoid eviction or the street; so yeah money is never enough!

And, do not forget:
"You need money to make money!".

I try to track our income and expenses - see how much is leftover after our bills gets paid and how much we can save.
