Would you rather watch a TV series one by one live each week or save them and binge watch at a later date? I've done both but I probably would rather keep up by the week. However, I watched "Dexter" after it was completed and it was so good I couldn't stop watching it. Do you have a preference?
-
I do both, but I actually prefer the anticipation of waiting a week to see what happens next.
-
I hate that word. I watch a lot of DVD TV series. I don't call it "binge watching" because that sounds degrading to me.
-
I would rather watch it as it comes on TV. Not one to sit and watch TV for hours on end. So why waste the time recording all of them, It is better to just get it over with each week .
-
We watch when we have time. We always dvr the shows to watch when we can. Some times we will watch 3 or more in a row, it all depends on our time.
-
I'm all for binge watching. I like to get a series from the library or a local movie rental store. Than I can watch at my convenience. It's also affordable that way. I'm sort of behind on entertainment so it seems there are plenty of options to catch up on viewing.
-
I do a little bit of both. I think it depends what show it is and how interested I am with it.
-
I would rather watch one episode at a time.Sometimes if the one I'm watching is more interesting than usual,I'll stick around for the next episode.I've never binged an entire season of any series.
-
Both
-
Live.
-
I DVR most of the shows that I enjoy so really never watch them live
-
I watch both ways. I like watching shows all at once on Netflix....no commercials. 8)
-
binge watch at a later date
-
Well I prefer binge watching. I only have streaming capability for one thing but the main reason is I am retired and disabled, I am home the majority of the time so if I get into a show I just like to continue on watching. I can watch a whole season in one day/night lol. My youngest son calls me the binge watching queen lol.
-
I would rather watch one episode per week. I've done binge watching before and may do it again in the future.
-
Watch live every week.
-
I watch older reruns , so i some times watch qa bunch, also like so of the goofy alaska shows so i watch a bunch, live football !
-
My preference is one by one. I don't have the time or patience to binge watch Live.
-
Just watched Ozark on netflix really good show. 10 episodes didn't binge wa5ch3d about 3 a day. Like to watch some shows well really only 1live that's this is us.
-
I don't watch anything new on TV. Only watch stuff that I have on tape, on dvd or downloaded. I think binge watching is a stupid word because it sounds like you have nothing else to do. I only watch TV when I am doing something else at the same time much like now as I write this post.
-
I prefer binge watching. I am always excited to find out what happens next.
-
Well, depends. Retired, but still always busy.
-
I like to watch regular live TV if I can remember time and station
-
I do both....There are a few programs I like to "binge" with (I too hate that word), keeps me company when I have already seen them.
Live alone, and like familiar voices in the background....Like "Highway to Hell" on The Weather Channel, or "Northwoods Law", "Alaska, the Last Frontier" etc.

I find myself doing both. A few years ago when I was recovering from a surgery, I binge watched Downton Abbey. It was one of those shows where I couldn't limit myself. I would do 10-12 hours of it a day because I was very immobile at the time. I had always wanted to watch it, but never did - and this was just before the final season aired - so I then watched the last season live.
I am also a fan of the Amazon show Man in the High Castle, which releases an entire season all at once - making it difficult to not binge watch (especially considering it was almost two full years ago that the previous season was released). I am pacing myself through the third season just released last Friday, but I will probably finish it up in a week or so.
For all of the shows that I enjoy, I am drawn to reading other viewers' reviews and interpretations online - usually on Reddit, and it can be hard to avoid spoilers sometimes. So I often stay away from any online discussions until I am finished binging (or fully caught up if the show is ongoing). But my desire to read theories and ideas fuels my need to binge.

I do both
-
I do like to binge watch show that have been on for a while but I just didn't get a chance to watch.
Usually with current shows I watch on demand as I'm usually a week behind.
-
depends on the show :) I have a huge list of shows I watch, some are on the same time as others. But I make notes of what needs to be watched. Some shows I would love to watch all at once, because I hate waiting till the next week to see what happens!
I do have on demand but most the time they either are really late in getting them uploaded, or they even have missing episodes, so I have to watch as many as I can when they come on live tv
-
I think it depends on the show. Some shows don't do a very good job of recapping who people are or what happened that got them into that situation. Those are much better done by binge watching. Other shows are fine live week to week.
-
I prefer to binge but it's nice to live watch every once and a while.
-
I do both
-
One week at a time, not strong enough for a binge.
-
I prefer to binge watch. I hate suspenseful cliffhangers.
-
I can do either one!!!! Some shows I can't wait to watch so I binge!!!!
-
I like binge watching but live is good if it is during my normal awake time
-
I prefer to binge watch.
-
We tend to watch live, week by week. I don't think I have the patience to sit and binge watch a show. Not saying I won't do it but so far I haven't.
-
Binge! I like to watch the complete story, or at least the complete story for that season, all in a row so I can follow along.
I have found that some series I can't follow along weekly "live" .... like American Horror Story.
-
I would rather binge watch so I can fast forward through the commercials or not have any commercials in there at all.
-
Some of mine i love to binge because it's confusing maybe parts boring: Channel One, Salvation, Gotham, Riverdale, American Horror Story.
-
I watch TV for a few hours in the evening and click ads on my laptop at the same time and I would rather watch a few episodes of a series on Netflix (with no commercials) than the live show.
-
I don't really do either. I have a ton of friends trying to get me to watch shows on netflix. I don't want any part of watching something that already has 8 seasons out because I don't want to waste time binging. I don't watch shows much at all but if I had to choose, I would definitely watch live.
-
neither lol

It depends, now I LOVE the Good Dr so I can binge that :)

Binge

I don't consider it a waste of time if I use my Laptop to click ads at the same time.

Live is good, it stops you from wasting a day sitting on the couch. I would rather try to savor things than watch all of them in a row. I'm doing that right now with Stranger Things, just finished the first season and am waiting a little while to start the second, to try to pace myself.
-
i sometimes binge watch as i get busy and have too many shows to watch or some shows like to make croosovers so you need to make sure oyou watch them in the right order and i feel like i have solved the dilemma for the day when i watch these shows on dvr
-
I always binge now I hate cliffhangers the most even more so when the Tv show I like gets canceled during a cliffhanger.
-
I watched the Dodgers get beat last night, then a couple of episodes of Blue Bloods and the local news
-
It depends on the series. IF its one that catches my interest i might binge watch not intending to
-
I'm a fan of binge watching.
-
We hardly ever watch anything besides Netflix since we only an antenna and not the best reception. The one channel I would watch a lot doesn't even come in with the antenna. We don't usually binge watch but occasionally while my husband is at work I will binge watch a show that he doesn't like.
-
Neither. I watch the episode(s) when I feel well enough.
-
Binge with no commercials.
