Are you having a holiday party this year. If so, do you plan on attending?

I usually don't go to holiday parties now that I don't work anymore.  I just go to a small family event, like about 5-6 other people.  However, I have become active in my local Senior Center and they are having one so I will probably attend that one.  I have never hosted a holiday party on my own and have never had interest in doing so!

No, I'm not comfortable in a large group of people at all.  I've been to small get togethers.  :glasses-nerdy:

Our church always has Holiday Parties and we attend them. Just had a Fall Festival that included a Chili Cookoff and a DJ with Laser Lights so the kids could dance.

The only parties we have are our family get-togethers at Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's.  No office parties.

I attend two holiday parties, the office party which includes 6 librarians  and the church choir party. Otherwise we have 30 family members for Christmas Dinner.

No I don't attend parties since I no longer work.  I mostly spend time with family.  We go to parades, watch sports and eat.

I will not be throwing any party and I don't have any intentions of attending any either.  Who knows, maybe I will get into that stuff in the future.

I am in the process of planning a holiday party for my book club and charity knitting club. Every year we get together and have a great time. Everybody brings in their best dessert (which includes some pretty fantastic cheesecakes, cookies and other goodies) and we eat them along with coffee and tea.

I plan on attending our party at work, but i do not care
For large groups too much either. I am a new employee at
this company and we are allowed to bring someone, so
I want to see what it is like.

I am not having a party at home. Just a quiet dinner.

Budget cuts at work have prevented us for having any type of holiday parties for years.  Holidays with family are getting harder know because the kids are all working and have one that is a Chicago Police Officer,  two nurses, one dietitian and a stationary engineer that have all to work on Thanksgiving and three of them are working both Christmas Eve and Day.  We are having our Thanksgiving and Christmas the second week of December because of the work schedules.
