I generally don't eat lunch.  I eat a filling breakfast and then I am good until suppertime.

Today is my splurge day where I allow myself to eat anything and everything. I made myself a breakfast burrito with four eggs, spinach, cilantro and jalapenos. For a mid morning snack I had to all beef hot dogs on wheat buns with mustard, sauerkraut, ketchup and onions. At lunch I had half of a vegetarian pizza and doused it with liberal amounts of red pepper flakes. My mid afternoon snack was a tuna fish sandwich. Shortly after that I had a mixture of cheese and carmel popcorn. I am meeting my wife and daughter for happy hour and have already promised myself that I would get oysters rockefeller and some buffalo wings to go with three to four icy cold beers. Usually I aim to have six well balanced meals consisting of palm sized portions...one third protein, one third carbohydrates and one third vegetables.

I would weigh 600 pounds if I ate 6 meals every day.

I had a bowl of leftover chili which would have been better but I didn't get it hot enough but LOL was to lazy to get back up and do anything with it - also had a piece of mexican cornbread which again would have been better if I had heated it up at all.  But it was still good.

Work or no work, I usually take my snacks with me because
I do not like junk food. There is company that sells cheese cubes and
cashews, cranberries, raisins, chocolate chips in a little tray and more.
They are something like Lunchables...but better for me than other snacks.

One of the members of my book club is treating the whole club to lunch at the local country club today. We can order whatever we want, but I usually order just soup and a salad to keep the calorie count down,

My lunch is quite the combination today. I ate cheddar bacon ranch dip with wheat thins and a fruit smoothie/milkshake thing I made with ice cream, milk and mixed frozen berries (strawberries, cherries, black berries, raspberries and blue berries) that ended up being purple goop (but was pretty good).
