I heard about the stroke last week. Then today, while my husband and I were at lunch he saw on his cell phone that Luke Perry had died. My lunch was pretty much ruined by that time. It's very sad.

I thought his stroke was more serious than the media made it out to be. Often, Hollywood downplays actor's medical issues when such complications arise. RIP.
-
I hadn't heard until I saw this post - so very very sad. Prayers for peace and comfort for his friends, family and fans. I know they are all in shock. :rose: :rose: :rose: :rose: :rose:

this is sad .. he was so young. I heard about the stroke last week but was at my mom's yesterday when I saw on the TV that he had passed away.
-
90210 was a staple for me to watch growing up.... so sad! Who & why would anyone die so young from a stroke in this day & age, seems so senseless with preventative medicine & screening. Makes no sense.
RIP Luke Perry, you were much beloved by many.

I did'nt know he had passed, I just heard he had a stroke. May he rest in peace

He wasn't that young. He was 52. That is not considered young.

I don't understand statements like this. Why would you be SO VERY STUNNED? Why can you not believe it?
People have strokes, heart attacks, and other stuff all the time. It is like people think TV stars are invincible.

How? They said he had a massive stroke. Maybe people just think oh they will be okay. I remember when Dale Earnhardt died I didn't expect him to die. They tend to make things worse than it is esp if it is somebody they deem important.
What I think it pathetic is we had a lot of people stay out of church that night because he had been in an accident in the race. And what surprises me more is that so many "church people" were so admirable of him when his last actions was to put his fist out the window of his car and flip off the driver of the car he tried to spin out. I would hate to think that was the last action anybody saw me do.

Yes, so sad. 52 is young to die. You can get an stroke at any age, my son in law got 1 and he is 30!, he is good now but it is scary and a wake up call for all of us. You are as young as you feel, and 50s is a young age on this times, people is having kids at 40s now so to die at 52 it is young.

lol NO it isn't. People die in their 60s. And very very few people are having kids in their 40s. And just because women have kids in their 40s doesn't mean that is young. It is very dangerous for women to have kids when they are in their 40s. AND when you have a baby at 45 most likely you will be dead or in a nursing home by the time the kid graduates high school. I guess on the up side the kid has a house at a young age. lol
