Ladies: When you wear foundation, do you usually apply it using your fingers, a sponge, or a brush? Me-I use all three depending on how I'm feeling at the moment and whether I am applying it around my eyes. Around my eyes I generally use a sponge. Sometimes I pat around my eye a little using the warmth of my finger. What about you?
-
I do not wear it. It is too goopy and feels bad on my face.
-
I try not to wear it either. It don't feel good on my face I end up touching my face all through the day I just wear eye and lip stuff. I bet you would love the spray on. My daughter wears a lot, sometimes she looks like a porcelain doll, but I catch myself so I won't be mean-like, but she wears it for work. A time ago, how they make makeup can cause cancer too, I wish I could scream why do I have to wear it I am beautiful enough but no. Mostly, it is the brush, not my fingers rather I like the sponge.
-
I use Mac Studio Fix & it is applied from a compact with an included sponge. Great stuff, except it's a little drying in the winter.
-
I do not wear foundation. I wear moisturizer instead.
-
I use a sponge to apply my foundation.
-
I use both a sponge and a brush. The sponge seems to work better for me around the delicate eye area.

I wear the foundation that has moisturizer and sunblock included.
-
I usually just rub it in; don't get all fancy but sometimes i use the sponge to spread.
-
usually just my hands..
-
I always put on my liquid foundation with my fingers; I never use a brush or a sponge. I use Clairol oil-free foundation because it lasts quite a while without making my face greasy.
-
I use powder make-up to even my skin tones and hide some skin flaws.
I find liquid make-up too messy to deal with. That is the reason I do not
use liquid make-up. I use disposable cotton pads to apply my powder make-up.
-
I use a brush because I feel like it looks more smooth on my face with a brush, rather than using my fingers. But sometimes I'll use my fingers to rub it in a little bit.
-
I don't use foundation makeup on my face. I have oily skin and makeup would clog on my skin.
-
I can't wear foundation. My skin is too oily. I used to wear more makeup when I was younger to cover my blemishes. Then I finally realized the makeup was causing them in the first place. Now I use a little Burt's Bees powder to tame the oil down, mascara, maybe eyeliner if I feel like it, and that's it.
-
I never did like foundation. Just did not like how it felt on my face. I sometimes use pressed powder.
-
I like the way it looks on others but it makes me feel as if I'm wearing a mask.

I'd love a super light, good for your skin, oil control, full coverage, all in one (primer and setter) makeup that can be applied professionally with anything.
-
On the rare occasions that I wear it, I use a combination of fingers and sponge
-
I use both a sponge and a brush. The sponge seems to work better for me around the delicate eye area.
I wear the foundation that has moisturizer and sunblock included.
I also use one with a moisturizer in it and always use a sponge to apply it. Doesn't feel heavy and evens out your skin tone

I use a sponge to apply foundation.
-
I hate foundation, but I do wear it. I like L'Oreal's True Match foundation. It's not perfect, but it does the job.
-
I wear foundation but not all the time. I have bought one with an SPF now and it is light and creamy so I will use it more often smoothing it out with a sponge. I hate the heavy, cakey stuff!
-
I use a brush
-
I use a brush - which I clean out with soap and water every few weeks. It seems to have the smoothest application.
-
I don't use it anymore but when I did I always used a brush
-
I don't wear foundation because it affects my pores and cause me problems.
-
I use my fingers to apply my foundation!
-
I pretty much apply any liquid with a beauty blender. Except highlighter, but most of the time that's a pressed powder. :P
-
I am more into skin care. I do not wear liquid foundations because they will clog my pores.
If I want to even my skin tone, I apply powder makeup with cotton pads.
-
I have never worn any, Didn't like the feel of it and still don't . Now you don't know what is being put in it either. Now my sister spends 30 minutes in the bathroom putting on her makeup, then leaves power and dirty wash clothes laying around and then I have to pick them up and wash the sink and every where else it gets. She seems to think it is a hotel room or something. I am not her maid and have told her so too. But she continues to do it. Sometimes I would want to tell her to go some where else.
-
I wear it very rarely and when I do I usually apply with my fingers and blend always going up!
-
I use my fingers then an applicator to smooth it evenly.
-
I usually use the sponge wedges. I have tried the cotton rounds and I don't like them. I also have tried foundation brushes and I have some beauty blenders.
-
I use a brush, except around my eyes; then a sponge; the brush seems to give me a better even tone coverage but to harsh for around the eyes.
-
I use a brush to apply compact foundation to my face. I don't like the look foundation makes when I use a sponge and using my finger would do nothing at all.
I use one that claims to be formulated to keep my skin clear and prevent clogging pores.
-
I don't wear makeup very often, but when I do, I notice that I use my hands more. It takes longer to do makeup when you use brushes and then you have to clean all of them. I just wash my hands before I start and go from there.
-
I wear a tinted sunscreen, applied with a sponge. Its light coverage.
-
I don't wear makeup because I like the natural look and my face feels better without it. I only wear a little bit of eye makeup everyday, and do my lips, brows. Only on special occasions and other times I wear face makeup I will wear it to look my best. When I did wear it I use too apply mines with a foundation brush or either a sponge.
-
I use Covergirl and it's ok
-
Use cover girl have since I was teen. Like to use a sponge and my finger. Suppose to use the middle finger the longest one has more flexibility.
-
WHRN I wear makeup, I use a brush to lightly pat it on. Usually, I just put some color on my cheeks and make sure my eyebrows are lightly outlined, then some lip color. ;D.
