my 7ry old grandson seems to be.My daughter has a 7mnold baby so I think she lets him play as much as he wants. my kids played also at that age but they had neighborhood friends to go out and play with. He knows all about fortnight I know nothing. He does play soccer and is good for his age I guess that's something.

My nieces play on the Ipads my sister gave them and they been playing it most of the day's, I usually have to tell them to put it down and do some other thing and the first thing they do is reach for the TV. Kids these days just can't live without tech anymore sadly.

Yes !! And they are grown and still play way to much!!!

My kid palys a lot of games, she is addicted...

I place a time limit on when the kids can play a video game. That time only increases when it rains. If I catch them doing it when they aren't supposed to I take away the game console, that includes their phone if that is what they are using to play during a 'non-playing hour'.

They don't stop unless they are hungry of have to go to the bathroom

Yes, my kids play too many video games. I have to take them out of the house so they won't play so much. Sometimes I regret buying the video game system.

I have a 13 yr old nephew and an 11 yr old niece that do nothing but play xbox when they're at home. I mean nothing. We have spent xmas there when the only time they were off the games was to open presents.

The grand babies would rather go outside. The 5 year old does like to play abc mouse, she never, she is always ready to go out side though.

I think in a world that is heading towards being technology-reliant, it's important that they're learning how to use it. My dad put me on the computer when I was about 2. He still gets shamed for it, but those same people always ask me to come over when they need help with their phones, computers, TVs, etc. because none of my cousins know how to.
In regards to games, I think I'd rather have a kid that plays "too much" than have one out partying and getting up to no good. Just my opinion though. I was one that played a lot of educational games from 2 to about 9 or 10. Then I played other games like GTA, Black Ops, etc. I don't play too much anymore but it's still night to hop online every few days.

it's just cheaper form of baby sitting option.

Video games have officially taken over and it's sad. Kids are no longer active and they're getting into arguments with the parents.

My grandson is hooked on fortnite, he has stopped playing quite as much as he did but I was really getting worried for a while.

Oh My Goodness,My Grand Children, even My Grown Children are constantly playing Video Games. My Grown Children stay up all night long playing those Games. I try to encourage them that there is Life outside of these Games and to please control My Grand Children and set time limits for them to play. Whose going to run this Country when they are all grown up? I hope that there is at least some who take life more seriously.
