I was in line at a convenience store last week and a lady bought $75 worth of scratch tickets.  She said she spends that much everyday.  That would be $2,250 a month.  She must win to be able to do that.

Never won - over $3.00.

Is the jackpot up in your state?

Good Luck!   :clover:

I haven't bought in tickets in over a year. It was such a waste of money I gave up trying. I have never won more that a few dollars, usually less than I spent buying the tickets.

I've never bought one, I'm not even sure how much they cost but it would almost definitely be throwing it away so I don't bother

I don't buy lottery tickets.  My husband, on the other hand, buys them when the jackpot is really big.  So far, no luck winning anything.

I have never won, but I would sure like to one day. I like the play the scratch-off tickets and the most I have ever one was $10. I only buy the dollar scratch-offs, but I hear you win more on the more expensive tickets, but I am cheap.

Hubby  buys  a couple when the amount  gets way up there. I don't buy  any. Why should I . if he wins  i get to spend it any way. Besides  we live in a community state and if he should decide to split I  would get half of it. (Which he  wouldn't  do anyway). I could think of a lot of  things to do with a lot of the money.  But first thing I would  do is  get another  phone with a new numer and only a select few would  have it.

Buy a scratchoff now and then but never won more than $20 and that was only one time.  Have put in more than I have won.  Haven't bought any in a while though.

A few days ago a man in my home town  won $4 million  on a $10 scratch ticket.  That's the second time this year we've had a 4 million dollar winner around here.

Sadly, I have never won. My boyfriend and I spoke about purchasing lottery tickets each month. For me, however, I consider how much money is spent on playing for a cash amount that is infinitesimally small to win.

I don't play much and I don't ever win. Although my daughter keeps saying she has a feeling I am going to win! lol. I guess I need to play!

The most I have ever won in the lottery was 600 about 20 years ago. I was in new york and bought a quick pick on the cash 5 lotto. I matched 4 numbers and went back the next day to cash it in. I win about $40 every month in lottery and $100 a month in scratch tickets

I have never won ever and that really bothers me because I would love to cash in on the huge jackpots they routinely offer in the mega millions and powerball here. Once the jackpot got up to an incredible, otherworldy 1.6 billion I think. That is amazing. I stick to the free lotteries since I believe my chances are the same and it won't cost anything to win. I also enter publishers clearing house sweepstakes too via mail and email. Wish me luck!

But how much do you spend?  I know a woman who has won $500 several times in scratch off tickets.  But she spends several thousand.  So she actually spends more than she is winning so basically she is not winning anything.

I have the worst luck with lottery tickets.  The most I have ever won from a lottery ticket is $6.  I do go online and do the second chance on the NC lottery website.  I did win $500 on a second chance drawing.

I haven't buy lottery tickets in years!  Just felt I was wasting that money since the chance of me winning the lottery is slim.
