We have had the Echo Dot for a couple of years and still get a kick out of it, so when I saw the Echo Show on sale for Cyber Monday I ordered the 8 inch one for the kitchen. That seems to be the best size from all the reviews I read.
Anyone else getting one?

I will not get that but I will upgrade my firestick and get the 4k firestick. it is a good price and I jumped on it. originally $50 half price for $25. plus 2 day free shipping. it's a win win :)

I received an Amazon Dot for free with another purchase i made. I hooked it up and have only used it once over a 6 week period. I don't know how much use I will actually get out of it but I do have it. I am more interested in getting some smart products such as a thermostat and light bulbs.

It's all a matter of habit. We use ours constantly all day (which is why we upgraded to the show) for simple things like time, weather, timers, reminders, questions like how old is Dolly Parton, who holds the record for most 3 point shots in the NBA, or anything that comes to mind while talking or watching TV. I knoe I could look it up on Google, but asking Alexa is so simple and fast and always on.

I am not quite sure what the echo show is all about. Maybe I will look into getting one if I like what I see.

The 2 day free shipping is a joke. Most people are not getting their stuff for 5-7 days. The last thing I ordered on a Wed and it said est delivery was the next Wed. I called and complained and they said oh that means you get it 2 days after we ship it. NO, that is NOT what Prime is suppose to be. I did get the item in 2 days but the item before that I did not get for 5. So my thought is why pay for Prime if the items will not arrive for a week anyway.

Your example is a very small sampling and probably beyond Amazon's control, since they usually only distribute and not manufacture what they sell. I buy a lot from Amazon and have been very impressed with Prime. I would pay their low fee just for the movies I watch.

I had one. for some reason it quit working. I got the biggest enjoyment out of my grandson using it. He was just learning to speak and he would try so hard to get it to play. I might someday get another one.

Did it quit working during the warranty period? They also have an extended warranty you can buy cheap.

It's actually 2-day delivery, not 2-day shipping. So yes, it means you should receive your package within two days once it has shipped. I have always received my orders within 3 days, not including 3rd party orders. I have even received some packages the same day I ordered them!

I purchased an Amazon Echo Spot. I just completed the setting up part. I've had it since last year. I was in no hurry. I do send they have decreased the price on it. Also love my fire stick. Initially I spoke with a tech on how to set it up. I found that I knew more than he did on setting it up. I had to tell him to shut up while I set it up.

Nope. Had an echo got rid of it. Not trying get spied on.

We have prime, not sure we will get it next year. My daughter live in town and even get hers on Sunday. We have had several thing that say they and prime and deliver from A, and have not got them, in the two days.
