I do TAP Surveys on FC but also another site. Yesterday, I completed a long TAP on the other site and was awarded only a penny or two. I received the money that I would have received if I had DQ'd. I went to check my account thinking that I would see that I got full payment but was disappointed to see that I only got the DQ amount.
Some weeks ago, I had a similar experience with TAP on this other site.
This usually does not happen with TAP but it is a real disappointment and even a shock when it does.

I understand the frustration. That exact thing happened to me here on FC not too long ago. It is not the best feeling given how much effort was put into the survey. For me, it was even more disappointing because I actually enjoyed the survey. As I am sure you are aware, all we can do is keep trying.

it has happened to me a few times but not as often with tap as it is with other surveys... but at least we get a dq bonus unlike the others which give us nothing at the end no matter how long it took

it has happened to me on other survey sites but fortunately not very often on TAP. Usually this does not happen on TAP. That is why it was such a shock and such an unpleasant surprise.

surveys are a great way to earn but they can be a hit or a miss. Take your time. be honest. Read each question thoroughly before you answer.
PTC and Forum help boost earnings. A lot of members love Tasks but I am not good on Tasks.
Post your question to me as a separate post asking for hints on ways to earn and other members will jump in with tips.

I have had issues with tap for over a year now. I have not got DQ points for about 15 months. I used to love Tap Research.

I use Tap on other sites as well and some of them don't even give you a DQ bonus at all. I think FC is the only one left that does.

Ahh that's no fun! Once I got through a good portion of a survey and it kicked me off without giving me a DQ bonus.

That is a disappointment. Doing a long survey and later getting disqualified can be frustrating. It has happened to me before. A DQ bonus is better than nothing.

I feel your pain. I got .40 for a DQ on Tap yesterday --- one of those times I got distracted and was away from my computer for about 20 mins. in the middle of the survey -- when I came back, I answered 2 more questions and was dq'd. Happy for the .40. Then, a bit later, I completed a 15+ minute, complicated survey and received .02. Frustrating, disappointing and head shaking, but its the wonderful world of surveys!

Bostonphil, so sorry for your frustration! It really is a shock when you've completed a long survey, expecting to get rewarded, then you find out you were not! I've had my share of those disappointments. It comes with the territory as you well know, just a little hard to swallow.

This happens to me a whole lot on other Surveys, but I have never had a problem with Tap Research. I wish everyone luck in getting Tap to work right again.

Sometimes it takes me about that many times as well. I work the Tap Research on a regular basis. I know that there have been less than a handful of times where I wasn't able to complete my needed quota.
Tap has been and is great and one to the better ways to earn consistently. I appreciate the platform also.

I agree. There is another gpt site that I work. It offers Tap Research. I have only attempted a few Tap surveys on the other site. I think there were only one or two times where I actually got a DQ bonus but after that, nothing. They no longer give the bonus. I don't waste my time with the surveys on that other site. I work on them here where the pennies actually do add up. :thumbsup:

This has happened to me at every site I go on to do surveys. You spend 20 minutes to a half hour on a survey, then get some measly DQ amount at the end of it or nothing at all. And when it happens on FC and you report the failure to credit to support they just slough you off by saying wait a few weeks to see if it doesn't credit at some later date! Cheez. It is just so frustrating to have it happen.

Sorry for everyone's frustration with Tap. Actually, that's where I have the best luck on this site.
Not only do I get decent amounts but I also like that the disqualifying pennies count as offers, not bonuses, so they count toward the following day's pay to click.

I know the feeling I have been having this issue as well especially since site was down a few days. Now i don't get anything unless i complete surveys, but that is the wonderful world of doing surveys you win some and lose some. Sometimes make a lot for short survey and then sometimes way less for a long survey. however i am thankful to have the opportunity to do them.
