what does everyone think of this virus?

That it's like no other virus out there, in that people can be asymptomatic carriers and spread the disease even though they themselves are not sick. That no one can predict, as yet, who will die because it's killing people in all age groups (those with underlying conditions and those without).
Everyone, stay safe out there and, unless travel is absolutely essential, Stay Home, please!

I am really nervous

I am very concern. My husband has heart disease and diabetes and still has to go to work for a food manufacturer and my daughter is working in a hospital as a dietitian. She said they have 30 cases in her hospital and been told not to visit the floor where they are quarantined or visit the ICU but the virus could be anywhere in the hospital with people coming and going. Also worried about my nephew that is a Chicago police officer and my niece that is a nurse in a major hospital here.

It is going to take sometime but I am sure we will all get through it.

It's going to be around for quite a while until antibodies or vaccines are developed.

Being cautious when rejoining the outside world, here is an article that could be helpful, or at least they are trying to compile a source for us and we appreciate this very much!
Check first as the news could be old, but the site says it is current as of 5/17/2020, for instance the gyms they say are open in my state as of 5/13 are not. The gym site says closed till 5/18/2020. Even then I would call if I planned to visit.

A no brainer for sure.It makes their hero go to zero.
I have had 5 friends that have passed away from it.Let the Trump supporters lose a loved one and then lets see how they feel.
Just like 9/11 happened on Bush watch,this virus came on Trump watch.....and we know how most felt about Bush.
Slogan MAGA really makes him look like an idiot too with whats going on now as well.

watched a video about the Spanish flu in 1918. it was bad and people did what were doing masks and such. it just went away that was what the documentary said hope this one just goes away.

Ive said this before and i will say it again.
The true God Jehovah has stopped ALL ministry where the virus is and meetings.Meetings are done on zoom and bible studies via the phone.If u cant trust what God wants who can u trust?We all know going against God with what bible says can not be good for mankind.
Pharoah didnt listen,many didnt listen to Noah as some examples.Sodom was destroyed.
Of course you need to go out and get essentials,but be smart.It seems crowded areas without being safe <masks,distance>Make this virus spread more.
I know 5 friends that have died from this.
Listen to what God says and when he allows meetings and ministry to go back to normal,i would say then its getting safe.We will gladly update that.Satan tricked Eve she would be better off NOT obeying God.How has that turned out for mankind?
One more thing,i would recommend a strong immune system as well.If UR one who catches colds etc,be even more careful.

Looks like some states reaping what they sowed RE the virus.#s going up.
I will be first to admit i hate wearing a mask.But if i am going into grocery store i have to wear one for 20 minutes.I avoid big crowds.Build ur immune system too.

I was considering taking my pup to the doggie park until I read this! Since there hasn't been a problem in the stores I shop at, I never thought about the parks and of course the doggie parks!

Public urination in cities across the nation is on the rise. The New York Post reports a recent scourge of public urination in New York City, particularly as the weather has gotten warmer and more urban citizens are venturing outside..
"There's definitely been an uptick on this street, from what I've seen," one New Yorker told The Post. Another individual added that public urination is a big topic of conversation amongst her friends. "Since the pandemic, I have done it myself in Prospect Park, behind a dumpster in Williamsburg and Greenpoint," she said.
"All of the public restrooms like McDonald's and Starbucks are closed. If you are far away from your home, what are you supposed to do?"
In New Jersey, after parks opened in early May, New Jersey State Police Superintendent Col. Pat Callahan issued a warning after an "inordinate amount" of urine and feces was being left behind in water bottles in these public areas. "We understand that the restrooms are closed, but people should plan accordingly and should not be urinating in bottles and leaving them behind," Callahan said.

At a time like this, I would not go into a public restroom nor an ER. last week I did have an issue which made me have to go to urgent care Patient First but my blood pressure was very high due to the nervousness. The nurse asked me if I was on an medication and I don't have an issue with HBP. This coronavirus is causing people tremendous stress, I just rather sit home.

At a time like this, I would not go into a public restroom nor an ER. last week I did have an issue which made me have to go to urgent care Patient First but my blood pressure was very high due to the nervousness. The nurse asked me if I was on an medication and I don't have an issue with HBP. This coronavirus is causing people tremendous stress, I just rather sit home.
Most people are avoiding going to the doctor for anything where in the past they would have went. You go to have a splinter removed and you will be tested for cov and told to quarantine until test results are back.

Again i urge the many with stress RE the virus to please read the topic of God instruction for virus.A 15 minute video from 1 of the governing body of JWs.And of course to heed Math 6:34.You will only add to your stress.And try to walk with the wise and not fools and its EZ to discern them by their fruit.

I still think that the virus is getting weeker, and with more testing going on, the picture is showing that the positive numbers are climbing but the death rate is trending down.
