 did we miss "May the 4th be with you" yesterday? Well, no matter, because we'll have to figure out how to celebrate Cinco de Mayo in these pandemic times. Anybody got plans? Any ideas on how to celebrate when most everyone is still in lockdown?
:bootyshake: :dontknow: :highfive:

I saw a bunch of "4th be with you comments" yesterday and some "Cinco de Mayo" promotions, so hopefully it can take people's minds off of what is going on

i just mentioned to my husband Yesterday that today is 5 de Mayo and nobody can go and celebrate as usual, I never celebrate myself and I know for certain that Mexico does not celebrate the same way that USA does but is sure different today

I spent "May the 4th be with you" watching Duff and Buddy having a Star Wars cake competition. I guess it was from another year but they made some unbelievable cakes. Simply Amazing. And as for Cinco de Mayo I would have Taco Tuesday but wasn't thinking about it and had taco's a couple of nights ago. Well everyone have some kind of celebration or fun.

I am sure that some people seen this on the 4th. I am also sure people are having their own cinco de mayo celebrations in this time that we are in right now. Have fun and stay safe

I always eat Mexican food of some kind on this day. Back when I was in grade school our teachers always treated us with a fiesta on Cinco De Mayo :)

Since the family can't celebrate Cinco de Mayo like we normally do the plan is to enjoy a meal of tacos, enchiladas and margaritas! Hard to believe that the first celebration of Cinco de Mayo was in 1863!

I guess you could always get on one of those Zoom happy hour online things, where you sit in front of the computer with your own booze and are able to see other people sitting in front of the computer with their own booze and then you talk and carry on like you would at a real Cinco de Mayo party. Definitely doesn't sound like much fun to me, but to each their own. Of course, I haven't celebrated Cinco de Mayo in many, many years, LOL! :peace:
