Ever since I was a kid I was always in a house where homemade sauce was made. The vegetables that were put in the sauce were from the garden. Do you make it or do you buy jar sauce?

Homemade, and jar sauce!! I love Prego, Classico!! I like Ragu.
-
I use jar, but put spices, onions, peppers and garlic in it.
-
I used to make it all the time but now I only make it every once in awhile.

My wife makes THE BEST homemade sauce I have ever eaten in my life. She does not make it quite as often as I can eat it. :D

We make our own with the produce from our garden. On a rare occasion when time is short, we will purchase a jar of Prego and jazz it up with our own spices.
-
I used to make homemade but now I just open a jar much easier

Home mades always better. you get to control everything that goes into it & have it the way you want it to taste. I used to get jars of prego or ragu and quit because it just does not compare to home made. Not saying its bad just doesn't compare in retrospect

We make our own spaghetti sauce from canned tomatoes and tomato paste plus extras like meatballs, onions, green peppers, fresh garlic, and oregano. Only very occasionally do we buy jarred sauces.

We make Homemade Sauce and use jar sauce. Prego is the best jar Sauce.
-
I have never made homemade sauce. What I normally do is use a store sauce for the base and add whatever I have a taste for at the time or have on hand. I have never tasted a homemade sauce that was worth the time and extra effort.

I have made a homemade Alfredo sauce before. It is really good but it is cheaper to just buy it in a jar.
-
I buy in the jar; not that great in the kitchen; wish I was.
-
Way in the past yes occasionally but I don't really cook anymore and there is a jarred sauce I love which is called Sicilian Hot and I am too old and tired LOL to cook much of anything.
-
I buy it in a jar. Prego or Francesco Rinaldi are what I like.
-
Sometimes it's cheaper to get the jar. It depends on the occasion.

We are having an over abundance of everything in our garden this year, so I have been making lots of sauce, marinara, paste, chopped and diced tomatoes. They are always so yummy but when I run out will be from the store.

We buy Hunt's pasta sauce in a can, and then my husband doctors it up to make it extremely delicious! A lot of the homemade pasta sauces I've had that other people have made have had too much sugar in them. I'm sure they can be made with much less sugar and I'd probably like it that way, but I live in the South where the sugary pasta sauce is popular. :peace:

We actually prefer making our own. Whether it's a sauce or a dressing, I like my homemade. However because in convenience, we do get jars or cans.
Last week, I used our last can of pasta sauce. Even though I did doctor it up and my husband and I really liked it, our homemade that we did a few days later was so much better.
A couple of days ago, we made homemade pizza with homemade sauce and man was that ever good. We may never have to order a pizza again. O.K., maybe we will but it won't be very often.

I use the jar sauces & just add extra cut up fresh tomatoes if I have them & usually some diced celery.
-
I normally buy sauce in the jar since i don't eat it that often. When i can find it i like roa's the best. :rainbow: :rose: :peace:
