I know that there are a few of you out there that have already started your Christmas shopping. How many of you have gotten started, how many of you are finished and how many of you won't do any shopping at all?
-
I have been thinking about it, and since we cannot get out a lot I had better get with it now for the little people. The adults understand late but not the kids.
-
I actually started my Christmas shopping today since I received money from other survey sites today! :present:
-
Haven't started yet but I need to soon.
-
I don't do Xmas.
-
I have looked at things, have not bought anything yet.
-
Me too, I have been looking at things for my grandkids, but no shopping yet. Also, my grandson's birthday is a few days after Christmas so more shopping to do
-
i usually start christmas shopping in july. i have lots of neices and nephews. i have a lot of trouble getting around in the winter time. also all of my families birthdays are in the Fall so i have to get an early start! i am probably half done. :present: :rainbow: :rose:

I have started.

I wonder where you live that you are not allowed to be outside of your home. My state never had any kind of lock down or restrictions on being out. As for the kids not understanding that is all in how you teach them. If you teach kids Christmas is all about getting a ton of presents then yeah that is what they expect. I don't expect the shopping to be any slower than any other year for most people.

Yes you do! It is only 92 days until Christmas! :D
I want to order some stuff. I need to get on that. I figure things may be slower in shipping with so many more people ordering online now than before.

I have just started thinking about getting started.I am really not in the mood

I have 7 grandkids, the oldest being 6. A 3 year old no matter what you teach do not get it yet. I said I could not get out a lot, malls are not open here in California everywhere yet . I also take care of 2 adults in their 90's and several young children every day, besides 3 that are on virtual home schooling. Mail is very much slower, I do mailing daily of cds and dvds for a company, it is taking several days longer since all the mess at the post office for the deliveries. I check daily to see where packages are, because people think they can always get overnight. So yes with the circumstances of this year here, it will take a bit longer to get Christmas shopping done. Plus a lot of our Christmas gifts have to be mailed, so once they are here I still have to get them mailed out.
-
I have started because I have five grands
-
Probably won't start till middle of November.
-
Oh no, I'm not ready to start worrying about Christmas gifts yet. It hasn't even gotten cool yet I'm barely in Halloweeen mode.
-
no need to start yet i have very little to buy for anyway
-
Will start soon online mostly. Trying not to spend as much this year. Walmart is good to shop ane deliver quickly. Amazon prices seem high looking for my granddaughters bday she will be 2.
-
I usually keep an eye out for gifts all year long. But, serious Christmas shopping will probably begin in mid-november.
-
I have.
-
The way it looks is that it will all be on line this year.
-
Last thing on my mind right now...
-
The way it looks is that it will all be on line this year.
I have heard a lot of the big sales will be online this year. If they are still pushing the distance thing it is going to be hard to have big in store sales. But the dumos don't care if they shut down businesses.
-
rob110 I think I won't start until November even though every year I tell myself that I will do better next year and be through before November.
-
I don't have money for everyone. but I have  so i will :glasses-nerdy: of something.
-
All my grandkids are grown and money is what they want, so Christmas "Shopping" really isn't shopping! I miss looking for those little gifts. :(
-
I have started thinking about holiday shoppings and begin to look at deals online. For this year, I will primarily focus online shopping and prefer to give people more experiences rather than material goods. Look forward to hearing what others might be doing.
-
Unfortunately, with the amount of expenses I need to pay off this year, there will be no Christmas shopping for me.
-
I am still trying for a decent thanksgiving meal. I have the time now I should just make some gifts.

What the hec is a dumo?LOL!!
I guess its your way of insulting your obsession with the democrats?
Now i dont support Xmas, but they seem to be in every aspect of your life.
I was wondering, when you eventually catch Covid RU gonna blame the Democrats for that too?LOL!
-
Started this already. Had to get an early start thanks to the covid garbage. Normally I don't start til september but I had no clue if i was able to get out here and there to actually get anything because of covid.
-
I haven't started yet and probably won't do any shopping until after Thanksgiving. I used to really be into buying Christmas presents for all my nieces and nephews and grandchildren but I just don't have the Christmas spirit this year because of COVID. I have lost touch with most of the family that isn't close by.
-
I've been randomly buying certain items left and right when I can afford it and find items I know people will like.
I probably am about halfway done.
-
i havent started yet..i need to...so much has happened this year..just not into it...granddaughters are gonna have a hard time...there daddy left their mama my daughter after 20 years..he wanted things like it was before kids..well sorry it doesnt work like that..he has moved onto someone else..daughter is still having a hard time as the granddaughters are also

I started last spring when I saw a few things that I liked. But now I still have more to do. I hate having it a last minute thing. :present:

I started shopping in June and did the bulk of my shopping last night as part of Prime days. I have a few small things that I would like to order within ten days from China which I assume will take six to eight weeks to get to my home but they aren't real make it or break it items. Just things that would be a nice surprise. My son and I are going to make a few items for my daughter and wife that we saw on a few sites and look as if they would not be too hard to duplicate. My wife has asked that we minimize any additional purchases so that we do not go overboard. We have a fairly large group joining us for Thanksgiving and a few family members that will receive their Christmas gifts at that time as they will be unable to make it back for Christmas.
-
I do very little shopping mostly on line so no I have not started any
-
I'm usually close to being done by now, but I haven't started yet. I think I will just give Amazon gift cards and everyone can pick out their own gifts.
-
I have not started yet, but I need to. The longer that I wait, the longer the lines will get and I can not stand waiting in long lines.
-
Haven't started yet, need too
-
I haven't even thought about it lol
-
I don't know what you would call it, but I have some things that I purchased for a really good price a few months ago that I am saving for Christmas. I plan on purchasing more next month.
-
I'm gonna start on Cyber Monday.
-
I've been getting ideas together, but haven't actually started purchasing. I need to get started. It's November 1st, and I already feel like I'm behind!
-
I have picked up a few things, will try to finish it all this month.

I will def finish this month. I have some stuff. I want to order a couple things. Need to get with it. Never know what will happen with deliveries.

I haven’t started yet. It’s bad enough I have Christmas to buy for, but also 2 birthdays, my sister in January and one of my best friends December 24. Guess I better get on the ball.
-
Its hard NOT to get sucked into it in this world......but still glad i know the truth RE Xmas and ALL the other pagan holidays.
Plus id rather receive or give a gift from the heart then feel cos I had to or the nonsense it was Jesus birthday.
-
I don 't do Christmas shopping anymore. I like the Holiday but that is about all.
-
I purchased gift cards for my friends and loved ones this past weekend. In the past, I used to purchase presents, however, some of them were either not well received or I spent a lot of time trying to figure out what some of them wanted. Nowadays, it is either gift cards or cash. SO much more convenient for me.

Unless it was something completely stupid I don't know why people do not receive gifts well. If you know the person you would know what they like. I have never gotten a gift from someone close to me that I disliked. I have got gifts from people at church or when we done co-workers (I don't do that any more) that were of no use and basically the same as nothing. Personally I would rather have a actual thing than just money. And with gift cards you need to make sure it is something useful to the person. We got a gift card for a steak house that is over an hour away from us a few years ago. I don't know that it ever even got used.
-
i am basically doing half of what I usually do
-
It's been quite a few years since I celebrated Christmas. I don't buy Christmas presents.
-
For the last couple of years I didn't do any Christmas shopping but I want to put the surprise and mystery back in Christmas this year, I'm halfway done.
-
My mother use to start shopping in July :) That's smart.

I have done all I can for now, will get the last one the first week of Dec.
-
I will begin shopping online soon. This year will be different from the past. I won't buy a lot of gifts. I am going to find out what the people close to me need and try to purchase it or give a gift card.
-
I'm not really buying much for Christmas but plan to get my first grandchild something.
