Title: should be sleeping
Post by: tjshorty on September 25, 2020, 02:42:02 am
All day long I feel that I could fall asleep in my tracks.  Come 11 pm and I am wide awake.  I don't know what is up with that.  So here I am.  Going to be falling a sleep when everyone else is just waking up.  The one night of the week that I could have slept in.  Didn't have to get up to take anyone to work.  I have things to do tomorrow and I am not going to be to good at it.  I haven't had this problem in years.  Thought that I was over it.  Hope you don't suffer from this.  Well instead of goodnight I will tell you all goodmorning.

Thanks for starting this discussion thread. I have similar issues with sleeping and found myself sleeping poorly especially since I begin to work from home. I tried to meditate, fit in 30 minutes of exercise during the day, and take zzzquil to calm myself down at night, but still struggle with falling and staying asleep. I will read to see what others might suggest and what works better for them.

Sorry you're having trouble. Keeping a consistent and early schedule has been helping me lately. When I'm still restless, melatonin tablets help me.

I hope someone has some good tips for the sleeplessness, restlessness going around.  I've been falling asleep sitting on the couch somewhere between 9:30pm and 10pm only to wake up around 3:30am.  I have to be at work at 7am-7pm so I am really dragging after a few days.

I am saddened to learn of your sleeping issues. I usually drink a warm glass of milk before I head to bed, and it helps me out tremendously. Another option is to take a melatonin supplement or prescribed medication.

My son says he uses Passion Flower (a supplement like Melatonin).  Says it helps him.

I sometimes have trouble falling asleep . Do take benadryl and sometimes ativan but every night. If I stay up worrying about my kids or money then I have trouble. Melatonin  can work for some.

Hi!

I have sleeping problems definitely. I work all sorts of hours and I don't have a regular sleeping time. I definitely need to fix it ya.
