This was posted on Timebucks today:
Tap Research "Tap Research has informed us that they are no longer supporting Desktop and Web based applications, they will only be supporting mobile apps from now on. This means that unfortunately Tap Research will not be returning to TimeBucks, along with every other site like ours. But there are still plenty of other providers that are just as good such as Your-Surveys, Peanutlabs, RevenueWall and TheoremReach!" .
I sure hope this is only for foreign platforms, as they said the same thing about Paypal when PP stopped servicing their survey platform. Paypal still is available here in the US for alot of the sites I frequent so maybe in Australia TapResearch is limiting their availability to mobile only. Fingers crossed we don't lose this money maker!! :sad1:

That's a bummer. Not everyone has a mobile phone so that will not work out. We'll just participate in other survey opportunities that is available on desktop.

TAP is the only way that I can now earn my 5 cents. I hate taking surveys on a mobile and would only be able to take it on my tablet, not my cell.
I am on grabpoints and used to earn mostly taking tAP surveys. They no longer offer tAP and I have been able to earn taking Peanut Labs but it is not as easy nor as much fun. I do not know why grabpoints eliminated TAP.

I was able to take some TAP Surveys today, so I am hoping that means it is not going to change on FC.

Yeah, it's definitely still here on FC, and good grief, I sure hope it stays on desktop! That really just doesn't make sense that they would switch to mobile only. I'd think they'd lose a whole lot of takers. I don't want to use my phone either, if it actually happens, I'm not sure I'll continue with FC, unless they get some other lucrative way to earn.

Not sure I believe this unless I see it on this site. I guess we will know if it stops working and since you said this we will know why and that is most likely will not just start working again.

It makes total sense. They do what is best for them. Maintaining websites is time consuming. Doing a site for just mobile would be easier for them. And for most people doing surveys on just their phone is easier. I am a member of another site I do well on and it use to be mobile only but they sold out to another company and now are desktop only. Doing on my phone was easier.

No you won't. You IP can change sitting in your home on your computer. You can not only access this site from different devices but also different states. It even states ON THIS SITE that your IP address can be different from day to day.

You absolutely can use your cell phone for FC. Some things don't work, like PTC, but there's specifically a Mobile/Tablet section under Earn Cash. There are lots of mobile apps available for download. I've gotten paid to download and play games on my phone through FC.

Maybe PTC was available several years ago, but unfortunately it's not any more. I tried to do it on my mobile when I first joined and it wouldn't even let me access the page. Got an error saying that PTC must be done on a PC. It'd be nice if I could do it on a mobile though. Would make things easier for me.

That's true. Tap is still working fine on here and on my other GPT sites. Maybe it is just Timebucks.

There is a mobile survey site app that pays 10 cents per DQ and is pretty easy on cell phone. I'm not certain that I'm allowed to mention an opposing site here so I'll just use initials: SotG. I've cashed out multiple times over the years I've had it and it still doesn't disappoint. Their customer support is amazing. So, just in case anyone needs an additional site to add to the collective survey basket, there are other options.
As for TAP it's been fine for me. But I'll keep my fingers crossed just the same.

Tap is fine here. I joined timebucks a long time ago but never had enough to cash out. Timebucks also stopped doing PayPal. :pumpkin:

Closing down or switching to mobile only? It'd be more work to do Tap on mobile because FC is not mobile-friendly, but it's doable. Hopefully Tap will remain on here, even if it's mobile only.

I am not surprised Tap is going mobile. It seems like that is the trend with many things. If you look at all of the technology that is now available on a phone, it is no wonder. A person must embrace it or get left behind.

So unless that changes, they will still have to rely on GPT sites to redirect users to their surveys. So if FC can keep Tap Research and make it mobile only, we can still earn from Tap.

Yes you can sign in to TapResearch directly, I did before I found them on other sites. Never earned enough to cash out through them though.

Right you are, Tap is back on Timebucks! But, mobile only and only Android for now. (IOS is coming)
Here's the notice (partially copied) quote:

I don't think you are understanding what I'm saying. Try going to the Tap Research official website and see if you can sign in or create an account to access surveys. According to their FAQ,
In order to access surveys on your desktop, you will need to first create an account with TapResearch. This account can only be created in the app or game in which you would like to earn rewards using your mobile device.
You won't be able to get an account unless you are a member of an app or site. Once you have an account, perhaps you can use it on multiple sites but bottom line is you need to sign up through a website. That was what I meant when I originally said that you can't sign up directly on Tap.

I hate this. I just hope there are other ways that I can earn my five cents each day so I can do the paid to click. If not, since we don't get the bonus anymore I will never be able to cash out.

I have been hearing this for months now but now it's finally happened. This makes me very sad as Tap has been the bread and butter of FC for me. I could always guarantee at least the 5 cents to earn the PTC. I, luckily, just cashed out what may be for the last time if FC doesn't find another survey aggregator. I wish everyone luck in the future. And I hope FC comes through with another company as good as Tap.
