Post by: Nancy5 on November 07, 2020, 12:40:00 pm
I just gave my 60 pound dog a bath.  He HATES baths   I’m not sure who got more water on them, him or me 😁

Hopefully not something you have to do very often!

I have a 135 lb dog that really needs a bath. I'll pay you.

(I don't even know how to get her into the tub.)

I bet you  were wetter than your dog. I used to take my cat to the vet so they could bathe her.

😁. Thank God I have one bathroom that has only a shower and shower doors.  It took all I had to get him in the shower and once the water was on all hell broke loose.  This is the dog that hates to get wet. He even hates to get his paws wet when the grass has dew on it. Once I took him to a dog wash at a pet store.  He made such a fuss howling and trying to get out that people actually were standing there watching and laughing lol. But I love him, he’s the only dog I have that doesn’t have to go to the groomer.  On Wednesday the other 4 go to the groomer

It took two of us to give a 16 pound one a bath the other night and things went ok.  It's not something I like doing.

I remember that my son would do it outside. I think he liked it especially on a hot day.

Know that feeling.  Then after the bath, he has the nerve to be mad at me 😁. He jumped on the sofa and turned his head, wouldn’t look at me when I called him, but when my husband (who was not involved in this bath) called him, he ran right over to him.

When I give my parrot a bath, he sprays water all over the floor. Doesn't sound as bad as your dog-bath.
