I got it a week ago Thursday.  The next morning y arm was a little sore.  the second day it was fine.  I will be getting the 2nd shot around Valentine's Day.  You have a 10 day period where it is the most beneficial time to get the second one.    Several members of my family already have received both shots and had no reactions. (My family has lots of first responders and now all the teachers in the family will be getting in the next few days.)  They have given out so many of the shots with so few reactions, it seems foolish not to get one.  I don't want any arguments that is just my opinion.  Having been involved in medical care this last year has been a nightmare and if there is anyway to slow it down or stop some people from getting it GREAT!  It has not been fun telling people goodbye for their families, holding their hands when you know they want their family members and just can not have them.

I'm really not gungho about getting this vaccine, especially given what I have heard about it, I don't think it will really be as effective as projected.

Most deffinately a no for me. The vaccine is still pretty new.  Not putting my body in harms way on something that has yet to be proven not to have long term effects down the road.

I'll take it as soon as I get the chance. I really want that mRNA in me.

I definitely want to get one to protect myself and my family. My mom has gotten her first shot. I might need to wait until April - June period though.

I haven't taken the vaccine yet because I'm waiting to see my doctor in March to see if she thinks that I should take it.  I have taken the flu shot and the pneumonia shot.

My mom who is 76 years old got her first shot a couple of weeks ago and has an appointment for her 2nd shot on the 11th.  My dad who is a couple of years younger than mom, is waiting for his appointment to receive the first shot.  And me, as soon as I can I will get it, I have developed a bad asthma in the last year and anything that can help me prevent something worse I will get.

I got my first dose last Friday and will get my second in February.  After the first I had no side effects, not even a sore arm.

Absolutely not. It's an experimental drug and it disrupts your MRNA genetic code. No one knows the effects of that on the human body in the future. I've been reading a lot about it. None of my family will be taking it at this point. Plus you will still have to wear a mask and do social distancing and you can still catch the virus. Why would you risk it if you didn't have to do so?

If your doctor says to get it for pre-existing illnesses then you probably should do it, but it's just a bad flu after all. And I've seen a few videos of people that got the vaccine who advise against getting it because of the adverse side effects. All in all, I expect it's simply a judgment call.

Now if they start mandating it for travel and other more vital areas that we will be barred from, I may relent. I'll let you know.  :-\

Unless you plan to fly or travel by boat or go to another country you would be good. Travel by car.  :D
I have heard a ton of conspiracy theories about what will happen in the future but only God knows so I will just trust Him.

There are many variants of CoVid 19 that I'm not even sure if the shot will work.  It might for the original strain but what about the variants?  Will you need another shot for those ???
